This feature is on the shooting/point and click adventure JVC Stinger Sniper from Pencil Kids. Its a combination of a scope-sniping game and a point and click adventure. In some missions you’ll have a certain amount of time to kill the enemy or destroy a facility while in other missions you must interact with the environment to achieve an objective. In this game, you are part of an underground militia which is trying to liberate the earth from “stingers” in the 26th century. The stingers are bio-produced androids that have somehow taken over the operations of the world. |
The game starts off easily with a simple sniping mission in which you must find and kill a few level 1 enemy stingers within a certain amount of time. The first mission is pretty easy and just by searching the building, you should easily be able to find all the enemies. The 2nd level is a bit trickier. You must deactivate a high-voltage security system, but if you touch the system without shutting off the electricity first, you die and the mission is failed. You must first get on top of the building to deactivate the electrical generator. To do this, remove the brick in front of the trash dump, then push the trach dump next to the building so you can use it to get on to the generator. Do not touch the generator! Instead click on the wire connection that leads from the generator to the cage to break it with a brick. Then climb down, enter the cage, and disable the security system. This took me a while to figure out. In most of these point and click adventures, you just have to find all the places where you can click in order to solve the puzzle and beat the level. Overall, I had a lot of fun playing this game and it kept me entertained for about an hour. Trying to find the solutions to some of the puzzles was frustrating but the sniping levels in between were enough to relieve the stress. This was a very well-balanced game between shooting and puzzles and the graphics were very smooth. If you’ve got a hour, I suggest you check this game out.
