sling sling Sling Sling is a fun sling-based physics game from st1k. In this game, the object of the game is to hit all the dots with your ball from the slinger. You have 75 balls to complete all the levels. Its a fun little game to pass the time and test your ability to predict angles and bounces of a ball. In many levels you must aim the slinger so the ball will bounce and hit more dots. A knowledge of Physics was required to make the game, and it is also helpful for playing the game. Most of the levels can be completed with two balls at the most but in order to do that, you have to be pretty good at predicting projectile motion. Below I’ve written some guides to help you get past some levels.

Level 1: Just sling the ball straight up with lots of force

Level 2: You can complete this one with two balls, angle the sling towards one of the sets of two dots on the side with a good amount of force. Be careful that your sling-circle does not turn red or the ball will just drop. You should be able to take out two balls on your sling ball’s way up and take out the two center ones as well as it bounces off a wall and back down. Then on your second shot, just sling towards the two dots you haven’t hit.

Level 3: I’ve also been able to do this one with two balls, although it can probably be done with one. You just take out one side at a time if using two balls. Getting the dot at the top center may be tricky, but can be done if you apply enough force. Sling with a slight angle inward towards the center and it should take out all of one side on the way up. If you angle it right, it should take the other side on the way down.

Level 4: This should also be done with two balls. Its much the same as level three except with the outer dot on both sides. You can angle the sling slightly inward so it takes all of one side on the first sling plus the top and bottom bots and on the next sling, take out the other side.

Level 5: This pyramid is a tricky one, but if you arch the sling right and use the correct force, you can take out half of the pyramid at a time. Sling the ball right into the pyramid with a slight angle on one side at decent power. Don’t overdo the power or the ball will just fly off. Doing this lightly will allow the ball to take out half of the pyramid at a time on its way up and down. You can finish with 2 balls.

Level 6: This one is fairly easy in two but may be able to be done in one. I did it in two. Aim lightly for each of the two groups of four and you should be able to a group out in one shot.

Level 7: The arrow can be done in two also. Aim straight up with a lot of force with a teeny-weeny angle. You should be able to get the handle and one side of the arrows on the first shot, then just use the right angle to finish off the other side.

Level 8: I tried the “V” a few times, and my best was 4 shots. I angled the ball directly at the two sides and two able to take out each side of the “V” in 2 shots. I used close to full force on my slings. A better option may be to angle a bit more and slightly less power and depend on the downward bounce to take out more dots.

Level 9: This is two straight lines so I just did it in two, but I’m pretty sure it can be done in one. If you angle it inward and go for the lower set of three with mediocre force, you should be able to get the other three on the way down.

Thats it for now, I’ll have more when I figure more out or find a complete walkthrough.
