Haunted House Escape is a fun little escape game and the 5th game of the escape series from 123 Bee. It has a creepy atmosphere but in the end boils down to be like most of this genre where you collect items and use them on doors and locks to escape the haunted house. The music in this game can get annoying after a while but is pretty fitting to this type of game. I’ve written a walkthrough below if your stuck on the game where. |
1. Grab the red ball from the ground, look behind the left tree and grab the mirror
2. Click on some of the bricks on the right side of the building and get a knife(its above the window). The knight is actually in the brick that is around the end of the small tree branch. Click on it and it will zoom in, click on the tile again to reveal the knife. Use the knife to cut the attachment to the cellar door.
3. Go into the cellar and click on the bottom of the map, pick up the matches there.
4. Go back out. Use the Knife to cut some tree leaves on the right side. You have to click around a lot. Eventually, you will cut the right one and a beam of light will shine on the brick where the knife was.
5. Click the bottom right to turn the mirror and then click the circle to make the beam reflect into the left tree. Then click the far left bricks to the left of the leftmost tree to reveal four mirrors(you must click on all 4 compartments to reveal the mirrors). This will reflect light onto the cellar door.
6. Take the mirror and put it on the cellar door and then click it to make it reflect on the door. This reveals a red switch that you can use to get into the house
7. Get into the house and pick up the blue key(Jewel) in the upper room in a pillow. Use the knife on the right pillow to obtain the key.
8. Use the blue Jewel on the secret chamber and turn six times. This will unlock the top drawer in the kitchen. Then pick up the grey key(Jewel) from the kitchen and turn it seven times on the secret chamber to unlock the upstairs right door.
9. Use the lamp to brighten the room and you’ll discover a red key(jewel under the pipe).
10. Click on scary baby picture to open the safe and collect green jewel
11. Use the Green jewel on the secret Chamber and turn it eight times to open the floor panel in the cellar. Put the mirror there and then pull the lever which opens the nailed door in the upstairs right to win the game.
That as far as I’ve gotten. This game is a real pain to play as the click-spots are insanely small and it takes ages to figure out where the heck to click. It took forever to actually guess-click and finish the game. If you like clicking alot, this may be the game for you, otherwise, I’d play something else. This is sort of an epic fail as escape games go.
