Escape from the basement is a fun escape game where you are trapped in the basement of the house and must prowl around for objects that will eventually get you out of the basement. There is a lot of combining objects in this game and I’ve compiled a walkthrough if you’re stuck or just looking for an easy way to beat the game. Click the “Click me, I am a walkthrough” link to see the walkthrough. |
Click me, I am a walkthrough
1. Pick up the crowbar on the floor and click on the bottom part of the stairs until it shows you a “25″, pick up the 25 chip.
2. Click on the bottom step of the stairs, this will lead you to the top of the stairs. There is a key in the door. Get the key in the door.
3. Go right and click on the laundry basket. There is a number “2″ on the basket, make note of this. You’ll notice that the blue piece of clothing is click-able. Click on it a few times and take the blue nozzle from under it.
4. Click on the coin slot on the washing machine. You remember you picked up a “25″ earlier, that was a quarter. Put the quarter in the washing machine slot. Go to the right room and take the cheese from the mouse trap.
5. You’ll notice a black piece on the boiler in the room, click on it. Put the blue thing you got from under the clothes earlier on the turn screw of the boiler. Turn the handle twice by clicking on it until the meter next to the handle goes to full.
6. Check out the sink next to the boiler. Click the handles on the sink to fill it with water and note the number 3 that is on the rubber duck. Click on the leg of the sink and take the allen wrench that is there.
7. Go right and you’ll see a locked circuit box. Use the key you got earlier from the basement door on the lock. Note that the number 9 is next to the red lighted square. There is blue allen wrench taped next to the circuit box, take it. Then click on the red lighted square next to the 9, it should turn off.
8. Click the part of the floor where the right light beam is shining, you should see a crack. Use the crowbar to pry open the crack and grab the wrench.
9. Go right to the room with the stairs. Underneath the stairs, there is a mouse hole with a mouse. Use the cheese to lure the mouse out and take the green allen wrench that is there.
10. Go back to the washing room. Click to open the lid of the washing machine and take the red allen wrench there. Head to the boiler room. Click on the top part of the boiler where the screwed in beige square is. Use the screwdriver to open the square and take the purple light bulb there.
11. Go back to the room with the stairs. There is a light bulb at the top of the room. Swap the bulb you just got with the light bulb in the room. Click the string attached to the bulb to turn the bulb on.
12. There is now a green “4″ scribbled in the room, make note of it. Go back to the staircase room and swap the light bulbs and turn the regular one on. Go left and click on the window. You notice there are four colors below the window and also you have 4 colored allen wrenches(what luck!). Insert each allen wrench in the same colored hole.
13. Now, you also have four numbers, click on each allen wren the number of times you saw on the numbers. If your unsure, click on the red one 9 times, the blue one 2 times, the yellow one 3 times, and the green one 4 times. The window should open and you there should be a plane that says you’ve escaped. (Note: When playing, 9 times did not put the red wrench in the right position, I had to click it a few more times. The positions of the other wrenches were correct).

Actually, the “9″ is a “6″, but if you’ve already taken it around 9, another 5 would put it in the correct position (there are 8 positions per wrench, so 9 is equivalent to 1).
