To easily win warfare 1917, you just use tanks and assault teams! fill up your trenches with assault teams, supported by a tank and charge the other side, and wipe them out. don’t bother using reflemen, they’re not going to effectivley take the enemy trenchs! machingunners aren’t useful either. defensive set ups don’t win you battles! So just use assault teams and tanks for what they’re best at! So Simple!!! you will dominate!!!

For me, machinegunners are very useful at early levels. For example to kill assault teams or rifflemen…

Using only tanks at the later stages is a no-brainer to win!
Don’t even bother capturing trenches – as long as you get one tank to the other side you’re guaranteed to win. So keep those tanks coming because they’re always more frequent to the adversary than to the player.
