Grey Matter is a fun game where you play the part of a bullet who has to run into exposed brain mass to kill them. Be careful, the grey matter will shoot you and you must dodge the bullets shot by the grey matter. This game pleased me because although I am not usually a fan of particle effects, I have to say that the effects in this game were simple yet very pleasing and fit the theme of the game very well. The explosions were pretty cool and the screen sort of moving was the first time in a game I actually liked that kind of effect.

Careful thought was put into it and it makes for a very enjoyable gaming experience.

Reincarnation ADDO is a fun point and click adventure game with a very unique storyline that I found quite amusing. ADDO stands for “A Demon’s Day Out”. The premise of this game is that there is a heaven and a hell and reincarnation only applies for those who don’t get into heaven. Lucifer collects these souls into hell where he runs his operation. However, God, in his great mercy, has put a bunch of “reincarny” portals all over hell so the souls can go back to earth and redeem themselves. If Lucifer loses enough of these souls, God will shut down his operation.

So when a soul goes through a “reincarny” portal to try and redeem itself in a new life, Lucifer sends a demon after it to kill that person before they can turn to the good side. You play the role of the demon whose job is to kill “reincarny” people and bring their souls back to hell. The plot is pretty funny so I suggest you watch it. Halloween Escape is a fun Halloween themed escape game where you are trapped inside a creepy house and must get out. I really liked this theme for this time of the year as the sound effects and the environment fit the bill nicely. I’ve written a walkthrough below for people who are having trouble figuring it out. Vinnie’s Shooting Yard 4 is the 4th in the series of shooting games featuring Vinnie from the Sift Heads series. This is a pretty generic shooting game where you choose from one of 3 weapons and try to take down as many stick-targets as possible. This is ok but lacks variety as the game is pretty much the same no matter which weapon you pick. I also had a complaint using the stars because it was really hard to hit the enemy, even if it looked like I hit them dead-on. It seemed to be random whether they died or not.

Either its just incredibly hard to aim with the stars or I just haven’t figured something out yet. Either way, it doesn’t change much for my review for this game. Its a decent game if you just want to kill some stick figures, but not much in the way of variety.

Hobo Brawl is a game where you play the part of a hobo that got up on the wrong side of the bed and now has it in for everyone. Controls for this game are easy with the arrow keys for moving and ‘A’ and ‘S’ attacking. You start off with just basic attacks but as you progress in the game you will get access to more powerful combos like spitting and using snot through specific sequences of the attack keys. Chaining up combos is powerful as it confuses the enemies and lets you take them out.

Many of the baddies come in cars so you’ll have to avoid the car when it comes around on the first pass. While some people will scoff at the political incorrectness and stereotypes of this game, I’ve never cared too much about political correctness and enjoyed all of this game including the political incorrectness and I encourage people to make more games like this. Fighting/action games that play smoothly with easy controls but are diverse and include combos are scarce these days. Play this game, its a real treat.

Portal War is a fun fighting game where you choose to be a character from one of the major game portals and fight the other portal characters to the death. This concept is great and the game runs smoothly but unfortunately lacks in diversity and is just too easy. There are two main modes, arcade and versus. In arcade, you fight each enemy one on one until you beat everyone. In versus, you fight against 3 AI’s in a battle Royale. I found that the easiest way to win on versus was just to stand aside and let the other three beat the crap out of each other.

On arcade, just face the direction of your opponent and push ‘A’ and you can beat the game. It was fun for one run through, but not something you can play for very long.

Dogfight 2 is the sequel to dogfight, made by rock solid games. Its is one of the best plane fighting games ever made. In this game, you are obviously a fighter pilot that has to take on multiple enemy fighter aircraft and win. You do this by performing tricks to confuse the enemy pilots. But be careful, if you mess up on the tricks, you will crash and die yourself. I’m not all that familiar with plane fighting games so this game was a bit frustrating with me at first. I kept trying to use the cloud cover and the ground dive techniques but ended up dying every time before confusing the AI.

But once you get the hang of it, at least the first few levels are easy. Overall, this is a very solid plane fighter and can be lots of fun once you get the hang of it. Give it a try!.

10 Gnomes 10 seashore is the 10th game this year from the 10 gnomes series. The goal is the same as the last nine games: find 10 gnomes in ten minutes or less. I’ve posted a video walkthrough below for those of you who are having trouble. Click the “click here, I am a walkthrough” link to see it.
