Halloween Escape is a fun Halloween themed escape game where you are trapped inside a creepy house and must get out. I really liked this theme for this time of the year as the sound effects and the environment fit the bill nicely. I’ve written a walkthrough below for people who are having trouble figuring it out. 1. Click on the pirate costume(one on far left) and click on the key in its belt after it swings down. Click on the middle costume(black cape) and pick up the yellow cube in its pocket, which is really a block of cheese.
2. Click on the white text in the bottom right corner, click on the correct answer which is “pumpkins”. There will be an animation. Take the key that is barely visible under the sign after you zoom out.
3. Put the cheese you got earlier in front of the mouse hole. The mouse will come and an owl comes and carries it away. Pick up the gold key afterwards.
4. Click on the number pad under the pirate costume and enter “samhain”. Click on the other numpad and enter “10312008″. Take the wooden bar that appears.
5. On the wall to the right of and below the window, there is a barely visible design. Hit that with the bar until it cracks open. Take the gun.
6. Shoot the coffin until it opens. There is a skeleton inside. There is a key in the skeleton’s hand, take it.
7. Click on the skeleton’s bottom left rib a few times and it will fall off and take it.
8. Click on the box on the left side. Put the 4 keys and the rib in the keyholes. Click on the Z and your out!

Vinnie’s Shooting Yard 4 is the 4th in the series of shooting games featuring Vinnie from the Sift Heads series. This is a pretty generic shooting game where you choose from one of 3 weapons and try to take down as many stick-targets as possible. This is ok but lacks variety as the game is pretty much the same no matter which weapon you pick. I also had a complaint using the stars because it was really hard to hit the enemy, even if it looked like I hit them dead-on. It seemed to be random whether they died or not. |
Either its just incredibly hard to aim with the stars or I just haven’t figured something out yet. Either way, it doesn’t change much for my review for this game. Its a decent game if you just want to kill some stick figures, but not much in the way of variety.

Hobo Brawl is a game where you play the part of a hobo that got up on the wrong side of the bed and now has it in for everyone. Controls for this game are easy with the arrow keys for moving and ‘A’ and ‘S’ attacking. You start off with just basic attacks but as you progress in the game you will get access to more powerful combos like spitting and using snot through specific sequences of the attack keys. Chaining up combos is powerful as it confuses the enemies and lets you take them out. |
Many of the baddies come in cars so you’ll have to avoid the car when it comes around on the first pass. While some people will scoff at the political incorrectness and stereotypes of this game, I’ve never cared too much about political correctness and enjoyed all of this game including the political incorrectness and I encourage people to make more games like this. Fighting/action games that play smoothly with easy controls but are diverse and include combos are scarce these days. Play this game, its a real treat.
