Hands of War is a cool rpg where you choose one of three classes and go on numerous quests and at the end defeat the final big bad boss. This game has a lot(and I mean a lot) of variety with over 90 enemies and over 100 quests you can go on. The possibilities and adventures you meet throughout this game are extremely varied. That being said, it is a good afternoon gaming session and possibly more, depending on how much you want to study the world. If your having trouble on the last boss, check out the video below.

I am new to this stuff and cant get the broken piece of the heartstone in the first city. There are also two factions who wont give me quests. Have killed mercenaries but can’t get over the river.

Well, Im a bit stuck in here, Ive already “completed” the game, I went through the Sahdow Runners side, Ive got the heartstone already but it asks me to kill the ally king, says “its in betwen the two rivers”, but noone special there, anyone know where can I find him???
i’m a level 25 ranger where can i find a better bow and arrow? also does it really matter which factions you are friendly to? i’m only friendly with the merchants, alliance, and trackers and i’m kill on sight with everyone else except the magicians some how do the mercenaries have better items to offer than the merchants?

How can I finish the last quest for the Alliance side? I need to find, or kill, the “Shadow Lord Xin Slain” but i can not find it anywhere…where can i get it?
I’m really strong to do it, but I can’t because don’t know where it is….the guy who gave me this quest was almost on the far right corner…is says ” reading southeast” there’s only one place, but i spent a lot of time there and nouthing was found
wow anyone whop cant get across the first bridge is a terrible gamer.
and you dont get quests from the blademasters and magicians creet because your probly a ranger. you dont need to do their quests.
to get across the first bridge and alll other bridges accept the quest from the general of either the alliance or shadow guys in the city then defeat the mobster in the cave. it is that simple you stupid noobs.
for the final quests in any faction you need 3000 friendly points, and it’ll turn green and say, “Ally”- it can get pretty annoying training for hours and hours and hours, so you should probably use cheatengine.org ’s speed hack and make everything 10x faster.
the mercenaries and merchants are just traders in town that have different but equally crappy items. to get the best items you have to kill high level enemies- at least lvl 24 to get the best gear. or if you’re trying to complete a weak set just look what level it is and fight corresponding enemies of that level. im pretty sure there’s no set bonus for having all items of same type.
someone asked about the final mission not being there- well you have to have completed the heartstone and acquired the mission named “The Final Blow”. If the alliance side boss isn’t in the spot in the youtube video- just search every square on the map systematically, as the boss really stands out being at least twice as big as every other normal enemy.
1. To get past the first bridge you have to talk to the alliance guy in the city u start in and beat the quest. i recomend being lvl 10-15 at leat to do alright. then you can corss the bridge. (Thi is the same for the second and third bridge)
2. To unlock the final quest you have to be Allied with the side you have been working with. The sucky part about this is evem if you do all the quest for that side, you may still be off by 500 points, which means you have to kill the enemy of them over and over until you have 3000.
3. For people who are high lvled 30+, the way i have seen to get the best items is to fight high lvl enemys (the ones in the top right) i got my highest lvl armor (Wizard) from the shadows that are lvled 29-29.
4. To find the Shadow lord go to the bottom right of the top right corner. Ex. ++++++++++++++

Ya, I’m a level 30 ranger and I have full sylvan. Im wondering how to do a quest with the trackers and the alliance. I am friendly with them but it says I need to become frendlier with them
Is there anything else to the game because I dont know what else to do now. Is there a certain level where something is unlockd or u have to fight someone?
My son is having trouble vs the final boss, the shadow runner lord guy. We can find him no prob, and have a fully upgraded wizard character with all the toys and maxed out spells.
The problem we have is that he is adapting to our spells. We have been using frostbite and fireball, but when you get him on low hit points the frostbite wears off too fast to get any hits on him. Tried switching to bonds of air to hold him long enough to get some range to hit him with a couple more fireballs, but he turns immune to that. I’m sure we’ll get him eventually like this, but is there a faster more reliable way?
Great game though, my son loves it and will happily wander round beating everyone up for the EXP.
yea you half to get the quest in the city from that alliance guy i have a level 7 ranger nd level 35 warrior lol im amazing i kill at will and to beat the bosses u run away while they do the special then shield bash and yes for the last level u half to have the alliance an allyso 3000/3000 lol its tough im at like 2678 for them so its really hard
I wanna found out how to get cross the bridge because when i try to cross, it tells me that i need to finish the quest in the city. So my question is, what quest the quest i need to accomplish.
ALL of the Heartpiece should be in the caves, and the person who gave the quest is ALWAYS in the CITIES. A few men would be standing in the city. Just go to all of them lol. ……ummm and maybe after that quest is when you cross the bridge?
Hi, I’m Luke, an experienced player to Hands Of War. If you are level 30 or above you are a master at this game if your lvl 20-29 your intermediate and if your lvl 10-19 your a begginer and if your lvl is 1-9 your a noob. My main lvl is a lvl 32 warrior and im starting a career on him, Name is Petroclus, and Armour and Weapons are Heartstone Jewel, Nightmare Headcover, Champion’s Breastplate, Champion’s Shield, Death’s Hand, Champion’s Platelegs, and Champion’s Shoes (or boots I don’t know, I forgot) but it’s feet wearable material. And that’s how powerful I am. So if your thinking of playing multiplayer with me (if they had one I would totally incinerate your wimpy little butt)
I wouldn’t recommend it…
Also, I’ve beaten Lord Xin and I’ve beaten the game with the help of negative life points (low lvl enemy that attacks you and u get more hit points when your lvl 30 or above). That’s the secret about this game but u don’t know it.

For a start there are thousands of players at a higher level than your lvlel 32 warrior, and secondly I am yet to find a singlw warrior who can actually get close enough to hit me.
I don’t get how anyone could have issues with finding Shadow Lord… given I show EXACTLY how to get to him in the video. *sigh*.

If you have trouble defeating the end-Boss or getting new quests, just fight as many high-level enemies as possible, this way you will receive new items and more upgrade-points!!

Hey guys, I’m having a bit of trouble with Chillsnap (the second boss). I’m a level 11 Warrior, which I’m sure is too low. Anyways, any strategies I should use? Or should I just train until I’m a sufficient level?

hi i had no trouble getting over the first bridge.
but suddenly i checked my map and i was in the rightdown corner (southeast)
so i did the quests that i could but i can’t begin the mercenary quest (and i can’t make them like me cause there are no traders i can reach).
did i screw the game up??

u cant be friend of all factions only 3 / be friend with mercenaries and shadow runners if u dont want problems to cross the last bridge and be friend of ur own faction (your class) / someone knows where is a leveling guide i beted the game with archer but dont know where to train going with mage now

and i can easily beat the game just fuck people up in the shadow runners or the alliacne whichever one your not friendly with, and then you just have get them to ally and you can do the mission the main boss isnt in a camp hes out side one it says directions just look arounf for like 10 seconds, and for you the last person who posted, you have to be allys with the people and then go in the city an talk to the alliance person there dont be a noob your a higher level than i am

Hi,i’m a level 38 ranger. The big boss is under the trackers.(got to be an ally to the aliance or runners)and I can beat Emberfury at level 4,LOL.The order of the guys,best to worst,would be #1 ranger#2 warrior#3wizzard,it’s my opinion. Bye.
alright i beat the game with a ranger, im doing the game over again as a warrior. and WTF even as a ranger I never get good warrior drops, swords or watever! NUTTIN GOOD TELL ME IF THERE IS ANY GOOD WARRIOR DROPS THAT A LEVEL 15 COULD GET

Go into the castles, and buy from the shops. In there is better robes.

ive assembled the heartstone and everything but i cant find the boss. i went where the guide up top says to but no1 is there. im a lvl 34 caster with the heartstone, aeromancers cap, robe of the ancients, terror of nnuk, and spell weavers sleeves gloves pants and boots and ive maxed all spells so i can kill it but i dont know where to go…HELP ME!

which factions final quest awards you with the best breastplate.
And if you know, also what each of the factions offer for the final quest, for the warrior.
I know that Alliance gives the Heartstone, Blademasters give the best sword, and the Merchants give the best legplates, other than that, I’m hooped. Any information would be appreciated and greatly useful
Youve got to go past each room of bats until you find the boss bat/dragon. I think there’s three rooms of bats in that cave, then the boss. You don’t even need to kill all the bats in each room, just get past them, into the next room.

Many of you can’t seem to find the Shadow Lord Xin. First, you have to Obtain the Heartstone jewel by collecting all four pieces. It is an insanely powerful lvl. 30 piece of equipment that gives you +50 to all stats, and +500 to energy and health. Then, make sure you are allies with the Alliance (3000/3000). Once you are allies, it seems like you need to kill around twenty more Shadow Runners before the final mission becomes possible. Go the the Alliance on the extreme North of the map in the final part ( the top right quarter), and he will tell you to kill Xin. Now head to the very south-east corner of this part of the map. He should be there, escorted by a Shadow Captain and two Hell Casters. Xin is a lvl. 35 swordsman.
Maximum level of the game is 100!!! If you pass it, the game will be error (. You can ally with more than 3 factions on the same time. how? example: If your point is 2998/3000 and friendly with alliance, just kill 1 person to become ally with alliance. But now you got 3000 point ally with alliance. That mean you can kill too many alliance’s people to become friendly with them again. That mean if you do that two times you can become ally with shadow runners and alliance together. problem is this game had too much of error. index in your item is not accurate. it has been change when you equipment. you can see the different in your character’s index table when you equipment some items! And you can find some great item by kill the boss in the cave many time! How? Just refresh your link (reload, F5) after killed that boss. he will reborn (must not complete that quest with the man gave you quest).

I have completed the first three heartstone pieces and got ally with alliance. i have got the 4th quest and tried it about 3-4 times yet i can never get close to killing him. Any tips please? and not cheat engine because i dont cheat
Then go battle him and shoot a frost arrow at the boss.
Then shot eleven arrow at him.
Then shoot a regular arrow at him and when he speeds up just stand and do the maneuver again.
Hey i have a lvl52 archer on this game and i have to my knowledge the best bow and best legs but i cannot find anything better than the common drop item stuff for head boots gloves and armbands, any idea where i can get purple or orange lvl30 items for archer? btw to the people asking about which factions. both mercenaries and alliance give you the quests for final boss at the end of the game so it doesn’t really matter. and the easiest way i found to do the caves is to do all the quests for the 3 factions i favor at the time in the area that i can do the quests and lvl up a bit then do the cave. its really easy with archers and mages.
Yea im a level 36 warrior and i want to know where you got your weapon… i have been killing hell casters at the last city for a hour and all i got was the epic dragon pants like you got and a epic ranger chest and lots of Nightmare headcovers and dragon fingers and more but i never got a good warriors weapon please help me

Stats: 167 str, 207 vit, 188 int, 93 foc, 298 agi, 215 armor. Also 63 health and energy potions.
If anyone can tell me the best items for Warrior and what drops it (if you know if not it’s fine) I would really appreciate it.

If you chose at the start to be a warrior and get quite good level 20+ (maybe less as long as u have good Armour) you can go back to the bridge with merchants and mercenaries and shield bash each guy there (even if ur allied with them) and they should do negative damage which pushs ur health past the limit!!! (dissipates when u go up a level or equip or unequip an item that gives vitality!

To get on the good side of the trackers, you have to go to the Blademasters camp and kill them, i you want to be on the good side of the magicians, kill trackers or blademasters. to be friends with blademasters, kill trackers, and as you progress (if you are allied with the alliance) you will be able to do all their future quests. and i started over as a ranger allied with trackers, how do i get the hearthstone 1st quest?

If you choose Shadow Runners as your ally. The final guy you need to find for Final Blow is on the other side of the river in a blank spot at the top of the map. He’s in the center of the map, at the very top, and then to the left of the alliance marker on the map (the blank space is where he and his posse are).
In the first city, to do the warior/ranger/magician quest, you ned to be warior/ranger/magician respectively. you dont need to do the others. To get the quest from the two people in the city, you nedd to be friendly with them(alliance/shadow runners). After you get the heartstone piece, you can cross the bridge.
If you are not wanting them to get any bigger than I would suggest that you stick with the cardio but even some cardio can make you gain muscles in your legs, It depends on the type of cadio that you are doing, but no if you don’t want you legs to get any bigger then i would say stay off of the weights, unless you are just maintaining what you have and not trying to biuld anymore, by this I mean light weights only a couple of sets and only about once a week! 5. Also the items are color coded for to represent their power. Light Orange/yellow are normal items. Orange are semi-rare items. Purple is the best.

Well as it happens I have got over the first bridge after killing the red thing in the cave, I am just working my way through it.

My son is having trouble vs the final boss, the shadow runner lord guy. We can find him no prob, and have a fully upgraded wizard character with all the toys and maxed out spells.
The problem we have is that he is adapting to our spells. We have been using frostbite and fireball, but when you get him on low hit points the frostbite wears off too fast to get any hits on him. Tried switching to bonds of air to hold him long enough to get some range to hit him with a couple more fireballs, but he turns immune to that. I’m sure we’ll get him eventually like this, but is there a faster more reliable way?
Great game though, my son loves it and will happily wander round beating everyone up for the EXP.

yea you half to get the quest in the city from that alliance guy i have a level 7 ranger nd level 35 warrior lol im amazing i kill at will and to beat the bosses u run away while they do the special then shield bash and yes for the last level u half to have the alliance an allyso 3000/3000 lol its tough im at like 2678 for them so its really hard

Last boss is easy, use ur potions when he become immune to spells to keep u alive. I had about 50 potions when whent up against him…. Now I have 2.

Kill at sight-they will attack you when they see you.
Unfreindly-They just dont like you.Cant go on quest.
Netrual-Just as it says cant go on quest but can still buy from them.
Friendly-Lets you go on MOST quest with that fraction.
Ally-Go on any quest, they love you. Pretty much as good as it can get

ALL of the Heartpiece should be in the caves, and the person who gave the quest is ALWAYS in the CITIES. A few men would be standing in the city. Just go to all of them lol. ……ummm and maybe after that quest is when you cross the bridge?

Hi, I’m Luke, an experienced player to Hands Of War. If you are level 30 or above you are a master at this game if your lvl 20-29 your intermediate and if your lvl 10-19 your a begginer and if your lvl is 1-9 your a noob. My main lvl is a lvl 32 warrior and im starting a career on him, Name is Petroclus, and Armour and Weapons are Heartstone Jewel, Nightmare Headcover, Champion’s Breastplate, Champion’s Shield, Death’s Hand, Champion’s Platelegs, and Champion’s Shoes (or boots I don’t know, I forgot) but it’s feet wearable material. And that’s how powerful I am. So if your thinking of playing multiplayer with me (if they had one I would totally incinerate your wimpy little butt)
I wouldn’t recommend it…

Also, I’ve beaten Lord Xin and I’ve beaten the game with the help of negative life points (low lvl enemy that attacks you and u get more hit points when your lvl 30 or above). That’s the secret about this game but u don’t know it.

For a start there are thousands of players at a higher level than your lvlel 32 warrior, and secondly I am yet to find a singlw warrior who can actually get close enough to hit me.

Haha, I’m a lvl 38 ranger, the King of the Alliance couldn’t even strike a single blow at me!!
If you have trouble defeating the end-Boss or getting new quests, just fight as many high-level enemies as possible, this way you will receive new items and more upgrade-points!!

u cant be friend of all factions only 3 / be friend with mercenaries and shadow runners if u dont want problems to cross the last bridge and be friend of ur own faction (your class) / someone knows where is a leveling guide i beted the game with archer but dont know where to train going with mage now

ok guys dont suck at life the people you have to give the heart stones to are in the city not on the outside, i have no purples, lvl 30 warrior
and i can easily beat the game just fuck people up in the shadow runners or the alliacne whichever one your not friendly with, and then you just have get them to ally and you can do the mission the main boss isnt in a camp hes out side one it says directions just look arounf for like 10 seconds, and for you the last person who posted, you have to be allys with the people and then go in the city an talk to the alliance person there dont be a noob your a higher level than i am

Well I am on the Alliance side. In order to get to the last Boss Lord Xin, the quest giver is 3 spaces over on the Top Right of the board.
Now the Boss is at 4 spaces down from the Top Right of the board under the Trackers.
Lvl 35 with 3 adds that you dont need to fight… and GL

Go into the castles, and buy from the shops. In there is better robes.

which factions final quest awards you with the best breastplate.
And if you know, also what each of the factions offer for the final quest, for the warrior.
I know that Alliance gives the Heartstone, Blademasters give the best sword, and the Merchants give the best legplates, other than that, I’m hooped. Any information would be appreciated and greatly useful

Youve got to go past each room of bats until you find the boss bat/dragon. I think there’s three rooms of bats in that cave, then the boss. You don’t even need to kill all the bats in each room, just get past them, into the next room.

Many of you can’t seem to find the Shadow Lord Xin. First, you have to Obtain the Heartstone jewel by collecting all four pieces. It is an insanely powerful lvl. 30 piece of equipment that gives you +50 to all stats, and +500 to energy and health. Then, make sure you are allies with the Alliance (3000/3000). Once you are allies, it seems like you need to kill around twenty more Shadow Runners before the final mission becomes possible. Go the the Alliance on the extreme North of the map in the final part ( the top right quarter), and he will tell you to kill Xin. Now head to the very south-east corner of this part of the map. He should be there, escorted by a Shadow Captain and two Hell Casters. Xin is a lvl. 35 swordsman.

Maximum level of the game is 100!!! If you pass it, the game will be error
(. You can ally with more than 3 factions on the same time. how? 
example: If your point is 2998/3000 and friendly with alliance, just kill 1 person to become ally with alliance. But now you got 3000 point ally with alliance. That mean you can kill too many alliance’s people to become friendly with them again. That mean if you do that two times you can become ally with shadow runners and alliance together. problem is this game had too much of error. index in your item is not accurate. it has been change when you equipment. you can see the different in your character’s index table when you equipment some items! And you can find some great item by kill the boss in the cave many time! How? Just refresh your link (reload, F5) after killed that boss. he will reborn (must not complete that quest with the man gave you quest).

well i have a gameplan to kill all the bosses.
First be a ranger.
Then go battle him and shoot a frost arrow at the boss.
Then shot eleven arrow at him.
Then shoot a regular arrow at him and when he speeds up just stand and do the maneuver again.
P.S fetter is useless against bosses

Hey i have a lvl52 archer on this game and i have to my knowledge the best bow and best legs but i cannot find anything better than the common drop item stuff for head boots gloves and armbands, any idea where i can get purple or orange lvl30 items for archer? btw to the people asking about which factions. both mercenaries and alliance give you the quests for final boss at the end of the game so it doesn’t really matter. and the easiest way i found to do the caves is to do all the quests for the 3 factions i favor at the time in the area that i can do the quests and lvl up a bit then do the cave. its really easy with archers and mages.

If you chose at the start to be a warrior and get quite good level 20+ (maybe less as long as u have good Armour) you can go back to the bridge with merchants and mercenaries and shield bash each guy there (even if ur allied with them) and they should do negative damage which pushs ur health past the limit!!! (dissipates when u go up a level or equip or unequip an item that gives vitality!

hey nich ty for glitch um is there a fast way to get up on points with your allies? cause im at like 2000 w/ merchants and im going back to see if i missed any quests but i dont think so. I dont wanna kill 200 mercenaries plz help

To get on the good side of the trackers, you have to go to the Blademasters camp and kill them, i you want to be on the good side of the magicians, kill trackers or blademasters. to be friends with blademasters, kill trackers, and as you progress (if you are allied with the alliance) you will be able to do all their future quests. and i started over as a ranger allied with trackers, how do i get the hearthstone 1st quest?

If you choose Shadow Runners as your ally. The final guy you need to find for Final Blow is on the other side of the river in a blank spot at the top of the map. He’s in the center of the map, at the very top, and then to the left of the alliance marker on the map (the blank space is where he and his posse are).

In the first city, to do the warior/ranger/magician quest, you ned to be warior/ranger/magician respectively. you dont need to do the others. To get the quest from the two people in the city, you nedd to be friendly with them(alliance/shadow runners). After you get the heartstone piece, you can cross the bridge.

If you are not wanting them to get any bigger than I would suggest that you stick with the cardio but even some cardio can make you gain muscles in your legs, It depends on the type of cadio that you are doing, but no if you don’t want you legs to get any bigger then i would say stay off of the weights, unless you are just maintaining what you have and not trying to biuld anymore, by this I mean light weights only a couple of sets and only about once a week!
