This strategy and series of video walkthroughs is for the awesome new strategy game Epic War 2. In this game, you take up the flag of the humans, orcs, or elves and have to defeat the minions of the Lord of Hell and have to come face to face with him yourself before you can free the land from shadows. Besides the units you can tech up and get there are special units you must unlock. Here is how to unlock them:
Hobbit: Read credits and instructions
Dwarf: Load game three times
Bomberman: die 3 times
Dragon: Beat level 17(The End)
Devil: Beat level 18
Angel Knight(not the human archangel): Max all three tech trees.
One thing, I found that the game is only beatable using the elves because if your elf, the Lord of Hell does not seem to do his ground pound attack which damages everything as long as you don’t build any ground melee units. Videos below show how to beat all three bosses:

You can beat the Lord of Hell with all three races. I just sent titans and angels as frequently as possible, no other units. Got a lot of ground pounding with the Humans, but still managed to kill before my castle died.
I also did 16 and 17 differently. To kill the castle, I sent a titan first followed by an angel. Then supplemented with a few other units. Kills the castle without being pushed back by the flood triggered by low enemy castle health. To me, it’s just painful to watch the videos because he kills the castle so inefficiently. After the castle, you could do the totem, hobbit, angel thing from the video. I just did titans and angels. It worked. But I can see how adding wizards could help. Spamming hobbits though…seems like a waste.

@Game: You can’t speed up the game. The video is sped up because watching it at normal speed would bore people to death.

@chuggz: I haven’t tried, but I suppose you could possibly do mass wizard units and sending titans. At least, for 16 and 17. Not sure if just titans on the last level would be good enough. It sure was boring repeating levels to get the research trees all done, but it’s probably much less frustrating than trying to do these levels without the angel.

blah, I did levels 16 and 17 with angels and dryads, with the (very) occasional hobbit or protector to stop the boss in place (too close and it would wipe out my dryads … I lost 30 of them from one attack from The End).

@gig&breaktroll : Just max out your arrows, and use the ability that unlocks to shoot that archangel down. And of course lots of units to slow it down

I’m trying to kill the lord of hell with the orcs, but something I’m doing is actually causing his life to increase. I keep sending titans (which seem to work), but either the orc totems (I have about 90) or the catapults (about 20) are causing his life to go up. At this point it’s a standoff because nothing can get through to kill my totems, and the lord of hell’s life if over 3.8 million and still climbing

Gig:
Have your arrows upgraded as far as you can, use mankind, and research everything you can to the max level you have before you make a large push on the enemy. That will give you more time. Have upwards of twice the units you mentioned, and when it gets closer to your arrows, just unleash them on it.
Also, get used to fighting those big things; you later have to fight red and black dragons and demons as well, many of them in the same level.

How to beat lvl 7:
1) Start of with getting your mana up. Each time you increase your max mana pool you regenerate faster.
2) Upgrade arrows! Makes it easier to kill the enemy without having to create troops, if you have to though use simple ones which has less effect on your mana.
3) After reaching 6000-7000 mana, upgrade all baracks and stuf.
4) Load up FULL MANA, then attack with paladins and wizards.
DONE!

For every unlocking I did, i just maxed out my default arrows, and elemental arrows took care of the rest
it takes care to up mana at the soonest possible rate, but you should be able to do the first one before mana up

on level 13 get lvl 5 towers and shoot the human archangel with the arrow special. It helps to use orcs because of the totems but humas also work. Spammig hobbits does’t work on the angel because of his range so spamming is just a waste

ok….just killed “the end”…..not that hard…..id filled all tech trees so i had the angel guy.
i was the elves…i heard it was better for 18 so i thought it would help for 17 aswell…all i did was use the angel guys and get the elf wizards-the ones that shoot ‘ice’ or something- when ever i couldnt get an angel.
did so well ‘the end’ died before i could even shoot him with my arrows

To unlock the other races, you have to win battles: Elf Race – after Chapter 6; Orc Race – after Chapter 12. The Tech trees are the upgrades under the research tag.

games pretty easy the only bad part is trying to do the final level with the humans i didnt lose any mission until the final one so im just upping all the trees and goona rape his ass, but for thoes of you who got “stuck” on a level obviously did something wrong, wether its not having your arrows high enough for the elemental or the 2nd elemental and barrage, or dont use your paladins right, by which i mean maxing out your mana and casting as many as you can also if you send out clerics out behind them then they last longer or it seems havent really found out yet
but netherless this is a great blog for thoes who dont cant figure out why stuff isnt working thanks for the help on the final boss and the unlockables sir

i took down the end and the toad thing with just human race maxed out, no angel knights, no problem.
but for the lord of hell, does he absorb human archangel’s damage too? and does he attack your base or just stay at his? and i don’t know what his ground pound attack is, but he doesn’t seem to use it against humans…maybe because im only using dragons and arch angels.
ps: if you suck like me, and let the paladin+beast+guardian charges get to your half of the map, spam bombermen, backed by one archangel. instant win

ok im on the final boss he doesnt do the ground pound attack (using elfs) so far i have out 3 titans, 3 dragons. and 2 angels
and he doesnt do the ground pound because he cant hit them
so just use elves
its hard at the start because the elves are weak at the start, but after you take down the tower you have it made

josh he does use it if you have anyone thats walkin on the ground then hes goona attack them as soon as they get there and then he kills your tower, no he doesnt move, but you pretty much have to use elves finish the game with 4 titans 2 angels and 4 dragons

well i teched up elves, and unlocked angel knight…and just for fun, i tried fighting the end with elves. is the forest guardian (elf titan) incredibly weak vs magic/the end or is it just me? and i actually think the arch angel is the best titan, since it keeps up a more or less constant rate of fire.
yeah, i figured out what the ground pound is when he killed my base….i was like “WTF MY BASE IS DYING”
and the hobbit+bombermen rushes are pretty easy. just train 2 or so assasins, and concentrate arrows on the other units.
so wait…forest guardian counts as a flying unit but the human arch-ANGEL with WINGS doesn’t? oh well.

oh and btw, if you play on certain sites besides kongregate where you don’t get access to the orcs, you only have to tech up elves and humans to get the angel knight. and you can beat level 16 and 17 easily with humans, and apparently level 18 with the elves.

if you have 40 elf mages it will stop the last boss in his traces but it will also heal him so after that you send in the forest gardian and a lot of cannons and stuff like that and you will not losss but it may take a while thou that is the new way to beat the last boss

and then i did a titan and just let them take down the castle but i got 2 waves out and they raped my titan so i casted another one and finished the castle and then i just kept using titans to kill gwar hajj and my 3 specials till he died

It is actually ok to use angels on the last level, because their normal sword attack damages him, which makes up for the healing from the magical stream of whatever it is. It evens out on the Lord of Hell, but the angels will pwn any other monsters so they are good.

So i goofed up big time. I didnt know the Lord of Hell absorbed your Wizards’ attacks. I created about 70 wizards and 70 clerics to heal the wizards. Been going about 15 minutes now. Not sure if the enemy will be able to kill my guys so I can quit healing him.

jucobe your not supposed to be fighting an arch angel. you can summon it when you have upgraded all 5 things to the max(in battle, not research). it costs 9999 mana, basically its just the titan for human.
oh another weird thing… i spammed everything i had till there was like almost 200 guys on the map. i didn’t know what was healing him and stuff but thats not the point. the point is, he never once used the ground pound or anything on me. castle had full hp for the whole thing. i was using elves btw.

LEVEL 18 – Defeating the Lord of Hell
The Lord of Hell can be defeated by any of the 3 races. It doesn’t matter how many units you send, it’s WHO (units that will NOT trigger the ground-pound) and WHEN (timing). The most challenging and exciting of all is when using the race of Mankind.
Small units
- All range attacks will make the Lord of Hell stronger, but it will NOT trigger the ground-pound. Use them as needed, but do not over-produce them, unless you want the LoH to recover to full health.
- All units that are able to attack at close range WILL trigger the ground-pound. Best that you do NOT use any of them at all (yes, even the little hobbit and bomberman).
The Big Leagues (Angel Knight, Red Dragon, Flame Devil)
- The Angel Knights blue flame attack makes the Lord of Hell stronger. However, hes sword attack causes much more damage which compensates for the blue flame.
- No problem with the Red Dragon, although you willl probably survive without it when using the Elves or the Orcs. Youll definitely need it when using Mankind though.
- The Flame Devil WILL trigger the “ground-pound”.
The Titans (Arch Angel, Forest Guardian, Cerberus)
- For Mankind, you will need the Arch Angel to push your units forward, but to finish off the Lord of Hell, only the Angel Knight and Red Dragon must be left to face him. Why? Because the Arch Angel triggers the “ground-pound”! Apparently, he is the only titan the Lord of Hell seems to have issues with.

To beat the castle i powered up the arrows, the castle and the dryads only used two angels and like 20 dryads for the long range attacks once the castle is defeated. the boss is extremely easy to kick his ass, i used three angels, three titans and three dragons plus i had a dragon and an angel on the way. once the dragon appeared i lowered my arrows so they wouldn’t come close to him, i didnt lose any life for he never attacked not sure why though, all my guys had perfect life. hope this helps, i beat the entire level in less than 10 min, had more trouble with the toad, lol, Hope this helps.

for lvls 7 and 8 i suggest you fully upgrade you paladins or protectors and then send a wave of them, about 12-15 should do. upgrading arrows will help as well.

Thanks for posting this. I was only able to get “The End” down to about half before dying. I don’t think it’s possible to win without unlocking the Angel Knight. Unfortunately my boredom threshold has maxed out and I can’t possibly play all three tech trees so I am throwing in the towel. Thanks for the videos now at least I see what happens.

Without unlocking the angel (complete all three tech trees) it will be too hard i guess.
The boss in 16 i found much harder than the other two ones.
For the Lord of Hell use the Elves.
Very important: When fighting the lord of hell, just use angel and the forest guardian. Nothing else! He absorbs energy from fire, cannons and arrows, so don’t send them. If you send any warriors like knights …, any damage done to them will reduce the energy of your castle! Batlle can take around 30 min.

The level 16 frog is harder to kill than this crap of a boss.
At beating Lord of hell, I had 6 Titans and 9 angels.
I only made 25 units for the whole duration of level 18, and I actually defeated the lord of hell in 10 minutes, while reading blog entries and watching paint dry. What a joke.

I just defeated the Lord of Hell and it’s much too easy! if you don’t send any soldiers, so just angels, does threeheaded dogs and red dragons, he won’t do that groundsmash. And that makes it a lot easier than normal. I had 5 dogs, 3 red dragons and 9 angels attacking that creature! And one dragon just coming from my castle!

Actually, I found it easier to beat levels 1-15 by simply upgrading the crossbow to its max, and then maxing the mana out to 9999, and then proceeding to continuously summon squires and wizards. Incredibly inefficient, but it has not failed yet.

To beat level 7 EASIER!
1: Upgrade your academy to at least level 1 wizards
2: Upgrade your Archers to level 3 ( first ones not mounted)
3: Upgrade your tower to at least Trebucket level
4: Make sure you have bombermen
Now basically send in about 2 catapults or one trebucket and like 30 archers. This will attack the tower and trigger the super units.Now this is where the bombermen come in. Keep sending in archer but send in bombermen also which will waste all the protectors. Then you can just pick off the ranged units and rinse repeat sending in 2 catapults or one trebuckets and more archers.

its simple to win really,if u do not have angel knight or r playing on a different site than kongregate then beat level 16 then beat 18 by using titans(and elves) then u can beat level 17.the flame devil is almost as good as angel knight.trust me.

it isnt impossible to beat the game without angel knight.first u need elves at max,practise a bit with them too so u know how to use them,then u get the first 3 achievements and go to lvl 16.first u get everything to max.and while u r doing that,whenever a wave gets past ur arrows spawn about 2 bombermen and up to 5 dwarves(unless anything like a paladin gets by)u never have to worry about it.then get ur mana to 9999/9999 and rape the tower with titans,dyrads and phantom archers.phantom archers freeze thats y.then u rape the toad with titans and dyrads and archers again and after u get 60 archers and dyrads each sommon anything u can like cannona and things that hit 60 plus damage.try to get 200 total people but watch ur titans health!at about 10000 health try to save for another titan but still sommon people while keeping in the 8500 plus mana area.then after that u go to lvl 18 and rape the lord of hell using the same stratagy except u dont use mant archers and dyrads or nonne if possible.use only titans.then after u rape the lord of hell go to lvl 17 and use the same stratagy as against the toad but this time throw in a few devils.still watch ur titan.and save up for another titan after ur devil dies.its that simple.ok mabye not simple but this is how i first beat this game.after that i used dragon and devil to get races up.

Hello,
What is a “three tech trees” ? I could not get Angel knight.
I’ve never lost ’till stage 16 and I lost Guah hajj just he left his HP about 30000 and I send 4 Arch Angel after that I never beat him.
ps. I just used LV3 wizard and Arch Angel that work but not enoungh coz this need 2 mins for charged

Hi again,
Today I’ve tried again without Angel Knight on Chapter 16.
I can beat Guah hajj with about 6 Arch Angel and lot of LV3 wizards(Bomber Man is more useful in this chapter)I got Bomber Man today after I read this site .
I’ve already save a print screen of my proof I would like to show all of kindness gamer in this side but I don’t know how to upload my picture
Anyway I still waiting for “three tech trees” to get an Angel Knight so please help me.

how to unlock angel knight
1. play previous levels for all three races to gain around 70,000 exp for all three races.
2. upgrade the entire research system (it is at the lobby at the bottom of the screen called RESEARCH)
3. once all three races are fully upgraded check the statistics page and it will say that you have unlocked him.
4. the angel knight has 5500 hp and does a devastating 700 dmge and costs 5200 mana.
5. enjoy kinkin some big freakin butt !!!! =)

(by the way on level 18 i keep sending out angel knights on accident but the lord of hell doesn’t recover health he loses some. can anyone explain this epidemic?)

Actually it is an Angle knight for level 13. Stuck also, anyway, try to max castle health and use titans, can’t upgrade to titan now, but hop it works.

I did all the levels differently. I used cheat engine 5.4. I finished the whole game in 10 minutes. Super easy.

QUESTION: I downloaded the game, killed boss with elfs but when I use the link to play with orks it doesn’t let me continue from where I was.

i have a tip for non boss hard stages
what i did was upgrade my arrow tower thingy to lv 4 or 5 then upgrade the academy and barracks to max
after that max out your mana then keep sending out wizards and paladins then you send bombermen with the wizards and paladins to wipe out the super units (when you take off alot of health off their castle).

tip on the harder non boss levels
max out your arrow tower thingy then max out the barracks and academy and after that you make your mana 9999 you may have to summon an occasional paladin/protector/beast rider to keep the enemy at bay once you mana is 9999 keep making your strong melee unit e.g. paladin and your strong magic unit i.e.wizard when the super units come after you have taken alot of health off their castle, keep making bombermen and i mean keep summoning them till the super units are dead whilst making bombermen you make paladins and wizards again but sometimes the extra units after bombermen are not needed
it worked for me and has not failed yet!

If you were stuck in the lvls 1 – 12 DO NOT USE YOUR BARRACK UPGRADE. Instead try the Mages because they have great range and can freeze. Also use a few clerics to heal up the mages because they have bad def. I recommend the Elf Phantom Archers because they can freeze and only cost 270 mana.
1st Note : I’m just really bored, nothing else 2 do.
To beat these lvls u must get the follow upgrades
1 – 12 : Human race – Paladin or Mage, Elf Race – Protector or Phantom archers, Orc Race – Beast Rider or Totems
13 – 15 : Titan Units – Cerberus, Arch Angel and Forest Guardian or Max Upgraded Arrows with Hobbits
16 – 17: Angel Knight or Hobbits and Max Upgraded Arrows
18: Angel Knight
To beat lvl 1 – 12 just keep upgrading, to beat lvl 13 – 15 master the human race for the Titan Unit – Arch Angel 18000 Hp 900 Attack. To beat lvls 16+ follow Tass’s instructions, their really good tips!
Easiest Boss : The End
Hardest Boss : The Frog Demon AKA Guah Hajj
Average Boss : The Lord of Hell
They were all pretty easy, I beated them on my first try.
Note on unlocking units ( I’m not really sure, I forgot ):
Human – Chapter 1
Elf – Chapter 7 i think…
Orc – Chapter 12 i think…
By the Way – I finished this game in less than a week. If you follow this mini guide of what i did, maybe u can finish it in less than a week too
2nd Note : I had help from Tass.
This is for people who think elf and orc are the only races that can beat up the lord of hell.
FINAL Note : I have beated the Lord of Hell before.
There is 1 way to beat the Lord of Hell using human race. It is a very slow way and u still need angel knight. To beat the lord of hell using human race, don’t use any arch angels (i tried it and he used gp 6 times) or demons (i think that the lord of hell doesnt want his solider to be working for the enemy – 4 extra gps). Use red dragons and arch angels up to 7 or so and he will barely use gp. Then the lord of hell will eventually die.
Also I noticed that some people are struggling on Battles 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15.
If you cannot beat battles 7 or 8 with Barracks and Arrows, Use the Mage Unit. Summon at least 10 with A few paladins in front guarding them because Mages have low defense and hp.
If you cannot beat battles 13 – 15 (Mainly People without Titan Units), upgrade the arrows to max. Then, wait until you have 9999 / 9999 Mp. Finally, keep summoning Mages with Paladins infront. When you have around 4000 mp, send out a few bomberman (4 or 5), but don’t forget to KEEP SUMMONING Paladins and Mages. If the Angel Knight / Devil / Dragon comes out before you destroy the Enemy base, don’t do a thing. Save MP and wait until your arrows can hit the Angel Knight or whatever it is… After, keep summoning hobbits while using “Super Arrow” ability. That should kill the Angel Knight or whatever… Then, with the saved MP, summon as many Paladins you can. If another Angel Knight is sent out, Repeat the Steps.

Note : This comment is just a prediction. Not yet tested, I will finish testing it in about… 1 or 2 day.
You don’t need the angel knight to beat the game. Once u get the Elf race, switch to ELF. Start at chapter 3 or so. Upgrade Archers and the Academy thing for Dryads and Phantom Archers. At around chapter 5 u should get Barrack upgrade until Protector lv. 1. BEFORE chapter 7 u should have the 3rd Arrow upgrade. At chapter 8 the elemental arrow upgrade is recommended. For all the orc race battles do not use mass archer! Their totems will kill your archers. Keep fighting until u BEAT chapter 16. Skip Chapter 17 and go to 18. Only use Titan Units when the Lord of Hell comes. Beat it (it may take a while…), then go to chapter 17 use devils and Titan Units.
While in a war u have as far arrow upgrade as possible and :
LVL 7 – 12 : Wait until u have over 4000 MP, Then summon 4 protectors in front, a few dryads, a few phantom archers and then KEEP SUMMONING BOWMEN. If they summon their “SUPER WAVE” ( A bunch of units… ), kill them, then repeat.
LVL 13 – 15 : Wait until u have 9999 MP, Summon 10 Protectors or so, then the rest are Dryads and Phantom Archers.
LVL 16 : Summon the sane thing you do in lvl 13 – 15. If the dark dragon comes up before u have the chance, summon titan unit.
When the Dark Dragon thing comes up with a few red Dragons use your Titan Unit. Then you try to summon another Titan with a few Dryads. When Guah Hajj comes out, spam hobbits and while spamming hobbits, summon a few Dryads. Try to summon Titans ASAP. The arrows should kill Guah Hajj
LVL 18 : Summon a bunch of Dryads and Protectors while saving mp for the Titan Unit. When u destroy the castle and the lord of hell comes, only summon titan units – May take 45 minutes.
LVL 17 : Do the same thing in lvl 16 except instead of trying to summon titan units, try to summon devils. Repear until castle is destroyed. Then, spam hobbits while summoning Dryads but still saving mp for the Devil and Titan Unit.
Note : This may not work, it has not been tested yet by me, I am starting a new game just to test it. When I am done the test, the results will be given to you.

You can beat any level with any race just use your titan unit + dragons if you havent finished the game/gotten angel knight for level 18.
Others if your stuck just get your mana up to 9999 then while your doing that also make sure you upgrade your arrows so you can continue to kill things and the odd time spam hobbits.
Then buy all upgrades and spam your “U” and “Y” key units with cannons with a titan or tank unit and you’ll beat every level.

the spamming hobbits helps with the frog if there arnt many units behind him but… after that they’re a useless waste of mana… if u got a brain ull figure out how to time charges to get a titan or even a few lvl3 meleers out there to stop the boss’s advancement. i killed the frog like this without it coming near the half way point, but the end did manage to make it about a nanometer past the line of my arrow’s fire range =D

I hated the frog it wouldn’t die until i got everything finally upgraded and sent cannons, angels, arch angels, and 30 of every other normal charecter aka human paladon. Heres a hint for you. Get the arrows power to be maxed out and then send a charecter such as an angel to just hold him off so you can take him down with unllimited arrows. arrows work pretty well compared to what an arch knight can do. (i think im on lvl 18)

you couldn’t build an other after 2 minutes because you had already an other.
look at 7:52 (lvl.18) – your mana pool is full
an THEN after two minutes you can build an other.

i managed to beat lvl 17 with humans. its not that hard. just keep the mobs at bay with minimum units and max everything out. then summon the archangels wen u can while spamming wwiizards while waiting. at one point i had 3 archangels on the field, but the End killed one and then died. so its do-able. and i didnt loose as much ground as the walkthrough

THE PURPOSES OF USING HOBBITS ON BOSSES:
1) u must SWARM HOBBITS
2)they slow down bosses cuz there are so many that the boss spends too much time fighting
3)gives time for other units to kick ass
4) they are units u summon many they distract alot they re stronger then goblins
5) HELPS MANA ALOT THEY COST LESS
6) GIVES LONG RANGE UNITS LIKE TOTEMS DRYADS ARCHERS WIZARDS TIME TO LIVE BEFORE GETTING RIPPED TO SHREDS
7) EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE WEAK IF U HAV LIKE 50 in a group they do big hits

most levels ware easy but i got stuck on lvl 16 on all the levels before just watch out for the counter attacks. you destroy part of their base and then all of a sudden millions of guys come at you.

ok i have’nt tried using human’s or orcs on the lord of hell im pretty sure they’l be a piece of cake
tip’s for lv 18
1.don’t massive spam(never)troops or you’l get ground pounded to hell
2.true the gp does not have eny fatal effect’s IF you play at arcadprehacks.com but it’s still annoying so dont trigger it
3.anyone who’s dumb enough to only use walking troop’s MAYBE decapitated instantly
4.flying unit’s will NEVER trigger ground pround’s
5.so the cerberus and human arch angel is going to back fire on yourself and also like the devil it’s worse trust m(devil’s get you ground pounded everytime)

im on lvl 16 currently. havent tried it yet tho. working to get the angel soldier. its a pain repeating the levels over and over to max out the trees. anyway does anyone actually know if using the healing units actually helps? i usually send them with my army because they are cheap so it really doesn’t hurt my mana to send them along. It would be nice to know whether or not they acctually heal your units because i can’t tell when im playing.

go to http://www.hacked arcade games.com and you will play the game with5 Million Health, Lots of Experience points for all races, Mana will jump to max after half way on some upgrades. At the black screen, please allow some time for the game to load.

how do you beat level 9?

Hes is beatable with humans without the use of the angel knight.
To destroy the castle, upgrade barracks to max and summon paladins, in groups of 2-4 at a time. they should hold off the enemies long enough for you to upgrade our mana, tower and castle to max. Once your mana is high, start summoning dragons as soon as you can. Then summon your arch angel, accompanied by 2-3 dragons and about 5-8 paladins, this will destroy the castle and the lord of hell will appear along with a huge wave of enemies. the combined enemies and several ground pounds from the lord of hell will kill your arch angel, paladins and dragons. at this point summon only arch angels and dragons, about 2 consecutive arch angels as well as several dragons will allow you to fight your way back to the lord of hell. by the time you reach him, one of your angels should have died and the other be at about 5000/18000, he will die fairly quickly and you can use this time to summon as many dragons as you can. once 2 reach the lord of hell and begin attacking, keep summoning dragons and you should win. Although many people the special attacks are useless, they do help clear some of the ranged attackers from off screen which will allow your dragons to survive for a longer period of time. The most dragons you can have on screen is around 7(the ranged attacks will kill one every time you can summon another one). the lord of hell does absolutely nothing at this point, and his health should drop down from 3.1m( from when he was fighting your angel that reached him) to 1.5m in about 12-15 minutes, at this point, if you have over 20000 health on your castle, its ok to start summoning arch angels to speed things up, and in another 5-10 minutes you should win. The fight is long but its still takes much less time than unlocking everything for the elves and/or getting the angels knight. hope this helps,
