Super D is a unique game where you are a dice that is determined to climb the dice tower, kill big D’s henchmen, and fight Big D at the top to free your kingdom from tyranny. Along the way you’ll save friends, collect items, and do things necessary to topple Big D’s kingdom. Be sure to save all the friends as each will give you a crucial item needed to win the game. The hardest part about this game is timing the jumps up the tower right. There are only spaces in a few parts of the circular path where you can go up.
Sometimes I think I’ve gone all the way around, just to find that I’ve missed a spot. Big D’s Minions also get more numerous as you go up the tower so you must be careful. Be sure to jump on them instead of get hit by them. Sometimes they are right next the door so wait until they move away before opening it. You can use the lift of jumping on one minion to land on another.
The minions don’t die, they just stay flat for a while and then revive so make sure that if you miss a jump, you don’t fall into them. Also be sure to collect the extra life hearts as you go up the tower.
Rover Archer is a fun little action game where you are on your quest to learn and become an re-owned archer. You’ll use your bow and arrows to shoot lizard people, spiders, and bosses to complete your quest. Pay attention to the weakspots of the bosses in the intro. You will indeed want to snipe those spots. You start with just the basic arrow and at level one but as you kill enemies you will level up and advance. Some things you should always note are your stamina and health, both of which can be recharged just by standing there and doing nothing.
Doing nothing is something you’ll want to do often.
You should also not shoot arrows too fast and you should try to pick off enemies from a different platform that the one you are currently standing on so you won’t have to shoot a barrage of arrows when you jump onto the platform. Avoid standing under purple clouds and other enemy spawn points as enemies can kill you by coming out on top of you. Overall, this is a pretty fun action/adventure game and I suggest you give it a play.
Griswold the Goblin is a great adventure game where you must collect items, solve puzzles, and eventually help Griswold find the Goblin city. The adventure starts because the TV broke in Griswold’s house and he now is going after the Gem reward. To do so, he must get to the goblin city. The story is well animated and thought out and the challenges are pretty tough. Everything in this game is controlled by the mouse so if your having trouble, you can always click on the help menu.
Most of this game consists of collecting items for your inventory and then using them to solve puzzles. If you need a walkthrough, look below.
Ninjas vs. Pirates Tower Defense is a fairly generic tower defense game that is based on the old game theme of Ninjas vs. Pirates. Yet, in its simplicity, there are many strategies that can be evolved in the game. The game has 6 types of Ninja towers, 4 of which have special abilities. Five of them I will use in a basic strategy in this walkthrough. The five ninjas I will use are the AOE damage Ninja, the slow Ninja, the instant death ninja, and the Ultimate Ninja. This walkthrough is for medium diffculty.
Start off with the Shuriken Ninja and upgrade it once and it should give you enough firepower to last through a few levels. Then if you can’t get the next level upgrade in time, buy a basic ninja to help with damage. Do this until you upgrade the Shuriken Ninja all the way to six and then buy and start upgrading the slow ninja. After you upgrade the slow Ninja to six, start buying and upgrading ultimate Ninjas. Sometime along the line of buying and upgrading ultimate ninjas, you will have enough damage to hold off a few waves. That is when you start buying and upgrading instant death ninjas. Places 6 of these along with a slow ninjas towards the end of the map and they should be able to mop up any leftovers and beat the game.
Brick Yard is a fun stacking game where you have a certain number of bricks to stack and you must stack the tower as high as you can. You must keep a balance of all the blocks and the best way is to build a solid foundation as the base and try to make other blocks fill in the gaps. Of course, this is not always possible, especially if your playing random and you just get a crappy piece to start with. You still need to make your surface that your stack is on as flat as possible, however.
The one thing that people may not realize about this game is that you can put any block anywhere. Even in spaces where the block would not fit. The game somehow shoves it in there. This can be used to great advantage to balance out your toppling tower. However, you should be careful when using this tactic as it could backfire and destroy your tower. Think of this game like tetris stacking — except that the pieces don’t always fit so nicely together. Happy stacking!
Andrew the droid is a cool little adventure game where you play the little robot Andrew and must try to go and accomplish little tasks he sets forth for you to himself. Its a wacky and challenging game with humorous text and cutish game play. However, it is highly enjoyable and the puzzles are pretty challenging. To help, I’ve posted a walkthrough of levels 1-7 and level 15(to the remote). Click the “click me, I am a walkthrough” link to see.
Charger Escape is a point and click adventure game where you take the role of a horse who is trapped in a stable. Your first task is to get out of the stable and then realize your true potential to become a unicorn and even a winged pegasus. Its a fairly long adventure but the story is pretty entertaining all the way through. For point and click adventures, it may not be on the level of “Journey of Reemus” but its better than most and will keep you entertained. It is decently challenging so if your having trouble, check out the video walkthrough below. Click the “Click me, I am a walkthrough” link to view.
