Block Drop is a fun puzzle game with peaceful watery music to it. In this game, your gem must hop from block to block, which makes the blocks sink. You must end up on the checkered block when it is the only block left. The first few levels are tutorials and its only when the blocks start stacking up that it becomes a challenge. Some of the levels are really challenging and its best to draw out a diagram beforehand before you start. I loved this game because of the unique graphics and the peaceful sound. |

FYI, levels are randomly generated based off an increasing difficulty algorithm. So, each person’s level 2 and level 6, etc, will be different. And the game goes on infinitely long if you want to keep playing. So posting level codes isn’t really helpful at all. Nor is an individual video walkthrough (which is why I didn’t make one).

ARGH! Stuck on LVL 921!!! My old strategy won’t work!
For lower levels, go to menu, go “Show Solution” and each time you
hit the right arrow (that shows the next move) Right it down.
Then go X enter the code again and then just play the level!
But LVL 921 is TOO BIG!

Hey there you block drop player.
I worked on the algorithm my own way and figured out the number of the code, still working hard on the letter. So here we go: the codes are L1-N1-L2-N2-L3-N3 L for letter and N for number
For level 100 N3 is 8 ( guess 1+8 =9)
so level 200 ans something will all have N3 =7 for 300 N3 =6 (2=7+3+6=9) got the picture?
N2 now works the same way with the last digit of the level to equal 9
so level 131 will have N2 =…8! correct (1+8=9)
N1 will work the same way with the second digit of the level, say level 154 will have N1=4 (5+4=9) so all leveles from 150 to 159 will have N1 =4
Pick a level and guess its numbers say
174 so N1=2 N2=5 and N3=8 hahahah

When you get to level 99, the next level is A00 (level 100). B00 would be level 200. Z00 would be level 3500. After “Z”, it goes to a space. So the code J6O4B93 is actually _35 (space-35), which would be the 3635th level.
Here’s the code for the 3636th (the next) level (level space-36): Q6D3M93
(Takes a long time to beat these levels, as there are thousands of blocks.)

The first number is the same per set of 10 (ie: 1 through 10= 9, 11 through 20= 8, et cetera) and the second number decreases through this set of 10, starting at 9 (so level 1 is ***9*, level 2 is ***8*, et cetera). The letters are taken from a set, not the full alphabet, excluding the letters C, G, H, L, U, Y. The patterns in the letters repeat, but I’m not sure how yet, but they correllate–2 matches with 28 and 4 matches with 56, for example–with doubles, or other multiples. I have the first 74 level codes and a few scattered ones after that, if anyone needs them.

All levels are represented by three characters. After level 999, level 1000 is displayed as 000. After level 099, level 1100 is displayed as A00 (that would be the 1100th level). J00 would be the 2000th level. T00 would be the 3000th level. Z00 would be the 3600th level, and after that it uses a space as its first character, so _00 would be the 3700th level. Hence, the code for level _35 (the 3735th level) is J6O4B93. The next level _36 (the 3736th level) code is Q6D3M93.
What some incorrectly think is level 10002 is actually level 002 (the 1002nd level). You think that’s big, try Q6D3M93. Has anyone gone any higher than the levels that start with a space (the 3700 levels)?

The codes for Levels 001-999 all follow the same pattern. All are in the six character format L(etter)1 N(umber)1 L2 N2 L3 N3 (Although levels 001-099 miss out N3). The pattern for these goes like this:
L1. This is a circular set of 52 letters starting at Levels 001, 053, 105, etc.:
1-10: B E J Q Z K X M D W
11-20: R O N O R W D M X K
21-30: Z Q J E B A B E J Q
31-40: Z K X M D W R O N O
41-52: R W D M X K Z Q J E B A
N1. This is linked to the number of the level, specifically the tens colomn, decreasing by one each time:

So how to get a code for say Level 589?
You can work out L1 and L3 by dividing the level by 52 and working out the remainder. In this case the remainder is 17 (589/52=11 remainder 17). Now look up the letters from those above which are L1=D, L3=Z
To work out L2 you need to look up the XX9 letter from above, which gives you L2=S.
Finally work out the three numbers which are N1=1, N2=0, N3=4.
This gives us the code L1=D, N1=1, L2=S, N2=0, L3=Z, N3=4 –>D1S0Z4. Try it out for yourself (but I don’t have two years to try and solve that level!)
This method should work for all Levels from 001-999. I don’t know about above that, maybe I’ll have a look another day. Enjoy people!
