So due to lack of stuff to write about, I’ve decided to take time out and write about one of my favorite board games where you start off with 2 towns and 2 roads on an island and must build up your settlements to reach a certain amount of points. For those of you familiar with the game but are having trouble finding people to play with, there is a great place online to play settlers and/or cities and knights at AsoBrain.com. This site has several servers dedicated to help people play these games online without any cost and the interface is the best I’ve seen for a long time. The settlers game is actually called “explorers” to avoid legal issues.

There are five different kinds of resources, wood, brick(which I prefer to call chocolate), ore, sheep and wheat and different resources are required to build settlements, roads, cities, ships, and knights(in knights and cities only). Its a great game of strategy and if you haven’t tried it out, you should. I’ve wasted hours of my life playing this game and you could too!
