Epic Battle Fantasy is a fun action/fighting rpg game where you control a fighter and a caster and have to fight a bunch of enemies in succession. While the game and battle engine work great, the game I think has too many battles before any dialogue/shops are encountered, which detracts away from the RPG element. The spells and combinations are fun to use. I found that the best strategy was just to use the caster for the healing spell most of the time and throw a massive damage spell in there every once in a while like pulsar if there are lots of enemies.

The fighter’s Bushido is very important to victory. When you use it, be sure to be equipped with the right sword. I really like the soul-eater’s legend move, it remind me of ominslash in FF7. I would reserve the Bushido skills for the bosses. During the game there are little guys that come in that boosts the caster’s MP and the fighter’s HP. I found however, that keeping the fighter’s MP up was pretty tough since I needed to use Bushido a lot. However, if you use the caster mainly for healing(herself and the fighter), you will do quite well. Poison is a bit of a pain so get some anti-poison and just stock up on items before you leave each shop and you should do well.
