Mario Combat Deluxe is a fun fighting game where mario(crappily sprited) needs to use kung fu moves and fireballs to beat up other mario-land characters. Although its not as good as the original mario combat, this game still does provide for some entertainment. The graphics, for one, are just not as smooth as the first version of this game and the combos and controls can feel jerky to the point of being annoying some of the time. However, this is still a decent beat-em-up flash production.

The main focus of this game is combos(which aren’t that well executed in this game). But chaining hits together, especially with your super move is pretty effective. Chaining kicks and punches with jumps is also pretty important as sometimes you can go into a jump-kick and then slide type of combo which can get you out of some sticky situations.
