As many of you know, Chrome’s browser has its own internal flash player. For some reason, a recent update screwed up the keyword to not work with flash on Chrome. As a result, none of the arrow keys used for movement work in many games. Chrome promised a fix for this soon but its been quite a while and I still don’t see a patch. Where’s the fix? I can see this being a serious problem for Chrome users who play flash games(and this is not a small number of people). On 8/10/2011, they promised a patch in the next week or two, but now two weeks later and we still do not have a patch. On my Chrome updater, it says I have the latest stable version of Chrome(13). I am thinking of getting the experimental version 14 just to see if the arrow keys work on that one. Chrome has been pretty good but now it keeps crashing also when I’m trying to work with flash. Looks like I might have to ditch Chrome for IE if they don’t fix it.
