Munio Tower Defense is a hard tower defense game that features 6 types of turrets and many strategies to win. This game was harder for me than the average tower defense game because it requires a combination of AOE turrets, hard-hitters, basic turrets, and slow turrets, as well as a boost turret to win the game. I’ve written a walkthrough below if your having trouble. It took me several tries to beat this and I beat it with 7 lives left.
The turret setup above is about what I had near the end of the game. I first started off with 5 basic turrets encased by a command turret for damage boost. I upgraded heavily on the rightmost two, until wave seven, when I switch the upgraded turrets to focus on sea. After that wave, I switched the middle turret to air and the left two to land and finished upgrading the 5 turrets and the command center all the way.
After that I started to build my row of laser turrets in the center. I built four and after upgrading them evenly for a while, built the EMP towers to slow enemies down so my laser turrets can hit them more. After upgrading laser turrets to the 3rd or 4th level. I started to switch their ability every level to whatever affinity the creeps had to get the 50% boost. Yes, this is costly, but you will die if you don’t do this. I finished upgrading the 4 laser turrets all the way to max then built the 2 inferno turrets and upgraded them, all while switching their affinity as well to match the creep wave. This will carry you to around wave 50, the super mothership(which is the last boss creep). For this creep, switch all affinity to air and wait for it to pass twice your group of regular turrets. After it does, sell them(because they are of no more use), and build as many laser turrets in the middle as you can(upgrade of course) and switch affinity to air. You should have no problem killing the last boss this way.
Eternal Red is a fun cool game where you have to shot and kill enemies and buy upgrades to hold them off. Its a pretty fast-paced game and action packed so if your looking for an adrenaline rush, give it a shot. I posted two youtube videos of Map 2 below, check them out if you have trouble(although they are really fast).
Kingdom of the Wind is a fun defense game where you must defend your castle that is up in the air. You must upgrade your mana supply, upgrade units, and more in order to survive wave after wave of oncoming attackers. Each wave is harder than the last and you must survive all the days to win the game. Upgrading your mana supply is crucial as you can summon units far quicker if you have a strong mana supply. I would actually sacrifice a bit of castle life in the beginning just to upgrade my mana supply and start building units when the enemies really start piling up.
If you choose to build a bunch of crap units in the beginning, you will not have adequate mana supply at the end to upgrade and build stronger units and you will die. I’ve posted a video of someone beating the 8th and final day. Its a little different than my strategy but still works.
Tree Tower Defense is a unique tower defense where creeps come down tiers of the tree you are trying to protect. There are different slots on the tree where you can build and combo towers to stop them. This was very different from a traditional tower defense as you had to slide up and down the tree to find more slots. I personally didn’t like it as much as most tower defense games because I didn’t enjoy sliding up and down the tree but some people loved it. I’ve posted a video below if you need help with the game. Snafu Tower Defense is a basic “build your own” path tower defense game with a military theme. There are a couple of tower choices with 5 levels of upgrade each. In comparison with other tower defense games, its pretty basic — which is probably why most casual players will like it. The basic strategy is also very simple which mainly consists of building artillery towers, SAM towers, and mortar towers, at least through the first few levels.
I’m written a walk-through below that gets you through the first three maps. Since upgrades are linear in this game, I don’t see why this strategy wouldn’t work in the later levels either. Click the “Click me, I am a walkthrough” link to see.
Level 1: This level is pretty easy if you just build your maze right. I did it with upgrading the machine gun through most of the level, but I would advise you instead of building and upgrading machine guns, to build 2 artillery, 1 mortar, and 2 SAM to beat the level with. Upgrade everything evenly and use the same layout I’m using and you will win.
Level 2: You have to build the maze right in this level and make the longest path possible. Ditch the machine gun turret you see in the picture and build another artillery in its place. Also stick another SAM tower somewhere in there and you should be fine. Upgrade evenly.
Level 3: Use the road blocks carefully in this level. Note that at the top I built one barrel/roadblock thingy every other square to make for maximum travel distance. Build a 2nd SAM in the middle. I also ended up building an EMP and a microwave gun, but its better if you just build one more mortar and artillery instead. Upgrade evenly as always.
Mini Defense is a basic no-frills tower defense games that uses shapes as its towers and creeps. At first the look of the game turns you off, but after playing for a while, you’ll see it has superior game-play than most other tower defense games. My main knock on it is that it is too short with little to no replay value. Figure out the game if you can but I’ve written a basic strategy below to beat this game with, click on the “click me, I am a walkthrough” link to see it.
Ok, first of all, the image above was my final tower placement I beat the game with and that creep being shown is indeed the last wave. Unlike the other TD walkthroughs I’ve done, I am not going to post a bunch of pictures for this one because its pretty simple and straight forward. To start the game build a heavy hitter(the green tower) and a sniper tower(yellow tower near the purple one) in the places shown above. Then store your money and save to build an ice tower(blue) near the green tower. Before the first boss, upgrade the sniper tower as much as possible as getting some of the first level upgrades for the heavy hitter. You will need good upgrades on the sniper tower to be able to kill the first boss wave. After the first boss wave, upgrade the sniper tower some more and the ice tower. You may also want to upgrade the damage on the green tower to level 2 or 3, but not too much. Also upgrade the range and speed of the ice tower, but mainly focus on the sniper tower. This will get you past the second boss. Use the money from the 2nd boss to build a tesla tower and upgrade the range, and power, and cooldown as much as possible for the next few waves. There is one wave that you will not be able to even come close in killing. Most of them will get away, but its ok, you will gain a bit of money and still have about 70 health left afterwards. After that, build one more sniper tower and upgrade range, power, and speed, to the first level and two more ice towers to upgrade the range. Focus most all your money on the first sniper tower and the tesla tower and you should easily be able to beat the game that way. Good luck!
War Zone Tower defense is a fun create your own tower defense maze game with many choices of towers, maps, and defensive structures. You must defend against both land and air units so building both ground lasers and air defense is vital. I found that concentrating fire and making use of the towers’ best abilities was the best way to win.
For instance, the laser cannon fires in a line so its probably best to build your maze so that is has long straight ways so the laser cannon to have its best effect. I’ve played the default map through the first 100 waves so if you having trouble getting started. You can use it as a guide. Click on the “Click me, I am a walkthrough link to view”.
Starting out: Make sure the enemy only has one exit, put machine gun towers along the exit path. They receive maximum damage as they pass through the exit.
Boss 2: I forgot to take a picture at the first boss, but I need to mention that you should extend your wall-maze out a bit and upgrade the machine gun towers in order to kill the first boss. For the second boss, I had a flame thrower tower, a plasma turret, and some upgraded machine gun towers, it didn’t stand a chance. Also a missile pod for air targets.
Boss 4: By this time, I had a ground laser cannon, an air laser cannon, and an upgraded air missile pod. I also upgraded my ground plasma quite a bit.
Wave 65: Its pretty much the same setup except I upgraded more and sold a machine gun turret to replace it with a plasma turret.
Wave 80: I bought a heavy cannon for AOE damage at this point and upgraded my other stuff. Notice that I also wrapped my maze around. This ensures maximum damage at minimum cost. Looking back at the later waves, I should have bought more heavy cannons because the pathway got really congested after a while.
Wave 100: Well, this game actually goes on forever, so I stopped building around wave 95 or so and creeps got through, but I bet I could go at least for 10-20 more waves if I kept building. Or just keep wrapping my maze around. It works pretty well.
Random Defense 2 is a strange tower defense game where you have to manage different types of resources, get money by killing creeps, and then build and upgrade different types of towers while keeping an eye on your power level to make sure it doesn’t fall into the negatives. That is quite a mouthful and this tower defense game is a lot more complex than your run of the mill TD. It took me a few tries on normal(I played on the first duck pond map) before I got a good setup that allowed me to win(or at least reach wave 90 when I got bored and quit).
I’ve posted by build up to wave 90 below. Click on the “Click me, I am a walk-through to see it”.
Remember that effects stack in this game, so its better to concentrate your fire then to spread it out along the path.
Lvl 10: Basic two grenade towers, 2 zap towers, and a slow tower. Upgrade the grenades and the electric towers as needed to take down to waves.
Lvl 30: Now I have a gatling tower, a shock tower, and a big-ass double missile launcher.
Lvl 40: Not much has changed except I upgraded as needed
Lvl 50: Yeah, still the same setup, upgrading these towers will go a long way.
Lvl 60:
Added big gun tower and capacitor tower
Lvl 80: Upgraded the three prime towers and added a big multi-laser tower(which was a disappointment by the ways)
Lvl 90: So I finally got a big doom tower of death and was disappointed in it. May have been better off just upgrading the smaller towers. Resistances should not be stacked. It makes multi-towers not all that useful.
At this point, not much was getting past, I had a lot of cash and it was pretty obvious I had won the game. But I also got bored after 90 waves so I quit.
Lord of War is a fun tower defense game with a fantasy theme. In this game, you can build sentry towers, cannon towers, crystal towers, elf towers, and wizard towers. The upgrade system is different from most tower defense games in that you upgrade each individual attribute of the tower rather than the individual tower. The upgrades cost less then if you were the upgrade the entire tower as in other games. It makes the game a little more complicated but also gives you a lot more flexibility in what attributes you need. I’ve written a little walk-through for the game so if you want a strategy that wins, look below(click the “click me, I am a walkthrough” link):
I have pictures for all 40 waves. After 30 it gets a little tricky and I had to try a few times before I got it. But basically since this game’s towers have no special effects like slow, its all about damage and rate of damage, so in the early going (Levels 1-30), its just better to get basic towers and then sell them for better ones when you can until you reach wizard towers.
Starting setup:
Just a simple setup with two sentry towers in the center of turn circles to cover the most room. The key to the early levels is just to upgrade the damage on towers. Specifically look at the enemy HP for each level if the damage of your two towers can equal or be greater than the enemy’s HP, your doing well. Don’t be afraid to sell if you can afford the next high tower. The damage of the next level tower is usually better than upgrading. If your damage does not add up to be greater than the enemies’ HP and you can’t afford the next higher tower even after selling, then upgrade your damage until the sum of the damage of your towers can match a single creep’s HP.
Level 10:
You can see I have a Crystal and an elf tower by this point and upgraded as needed.
Level 20:
Two wizards by this point. For this, I upgraded both wizard towers to full since they are at the pivot point where they can do the most damage. Upgrade damage, speed, and range for these two towers only.
Level 30:
Yep, still the two towers upgraded pretty much to max.
Level 40:
You can see I have several wizard towers upgraded all to max damage and all except one upgraded to full range. All are at max fire speed. I have two sentry towers as “attack absorbers” because they are cheap HP towers and can be repaired at the rate of 3G for each 10 HP. I have them in those positions because then the enemies will attack them first instead of my wizard towers.
Garden Inventor is a tower defense games that is themed around gardens. You have to build different kinds of flowers or lawn gnomes to defend against insects. Unlike most TD’s, it isn’t a single level play-through and you have to play many different zones in order to beat the game. Each zone poses its own challenges with a boss at the end. There are a lot of combinations you can do and this game requires lots of selling and re-buying to achieve your goals but it is a very fun and interesting game to play. I’ve written a walkthrough for some of the zones. Click on the “click here, I am a walkthrough” link to view.
This Zone is very easy. Just buy the cactus plants. Buy 2 of by and put them at turn spots and upgrade them equally as soon as you get the money. On the last boss you will need to do some selling and re-buying. Wait until the boss passes the first two turn spots and let your towers shoot until he passes. The immediately sell those towers and buy two more cactus towers at the last two turn spots. You get full price for selling so upgrade the two towers you just bought to the same level and that is enough to kill the boss.
Stage 2:
Like zone one, selling and re-buying costs nothing so don’t be shy about it. Its the only way to win. All you need are cactus plants again. Basically this zone involves buying upgrading, selling, and moving your cactus plants around. Do not be afraid to upgrade and then sell, only to buy another cactus plants and upgrading to the same level. You have to time this zone correctly as some of the creeps don’t wait for the last wave to die off before spawning. But you should at least be able to move one of your cactus to two locations on each wave. That, combined with the max possible upgrades, should be enough to win the level.
On the boss, sell everything and upgrade one cactus to the max you can, that should be enough to kill him. If he passes it, don’t worry. Just sell it and put it at a later location along the path. He is easily killable.
Stage 3:
Much the same as zone two, although to start, you will want to put your flowers at the beginning of the path and if the creeps get past, sell and then put it later on in the path. Upgrade to the max you can each time. It only takes buying/selling two cactus plants to actually beat the level.
Stage 4:
This level was like level 3 where I started with two cactus plants near the start but that allowed me to kill the waves fast and push “next wave” and get me some extra cash. With this extra cash, it allowed me to buy upgrades very quickly and I was able to kill everything near the start for nearly the entire round. Towards the end I had to sell some towers and buy them further down the map. For the boss I just used 1 tower upgraded to max and a upgraded water sprinkler to slow bugs down. It was easy to beat the 4th level and clear the first house.
Be back with more once I play the other houses, have fun. This game is a lot more micro that other TD’s.
