Super Stacker is a fun game where you have a certain number of boxes that you must stack and have not fall for a certain amount of time to advance to the next level. The first level is pretty easy as you start with a big base and just advance upward. However, the later levels get really tough and you may have to try several times before you succeed. I have posted a video walkthrough below. Click the “Click me, I am a walkthrough” link to see it. |

Splitter is a unique game where you must take a knife and split things in the environment of a happy face in order to move object to bump into it, make it slide down, or do something to do so that it will end up in a target area. Its a pretty tough game and there are a lot of levels. While the in-game help gets you through the first 5 levels, its the later levels which are the trouble. I’ve posted a video walkthrough below. Polaris is a fun game were you must sling a ball through magnetic fields(generated by magnetic tiles), elastic tiles, and more to reach one or more goals on each level. This game is beautifully balanced with twenty levels all posing various challenges. The game physics work great and the the game itself runs very smooth. Even though there is a time limit on each level, the gameplay itself is very laid back and the music is nice to listen to. The challenges are fun and this should be a great game for an afternoon play. |
You have to beat each level to get to the next but a system of level codes lets you pick up where you left off last. If you want to skip a few levels and play the later ones, click on the “Click me, I am a walk-through” link below.
This walkthrough is for the popular new physics-based puzzle game Color Infection.

Sling Sling is a fun sling-based physics game from st1k. In this game, the object of the game is to hit all the dots with your ball from the slinger. You have 75 balls to complete all the levels. Its a fun little game to pass the time and test your ability to predict angles and bounces of a ball. In many levels you must aim the slinger so the ball will bounce and hit more dots. A knowledge of Physics was required to make the game, and it is also helpful for playing the game. Most of the levels can be completed with two balls at the most but in order to do that, you have to be pretty good at predicting projectile motion. Below I’ve written some guides to help you get past some levels. |
Level 1: Just sling the ball straight up with lots of force
Level 2: You can complete this one with two balls, angle the sling towards one of the sets of two dots on the side with a good amount of force. Be careful that your sling-circle does not turn red or the ball will just drop. You should be able to take out two balls on your sling ball’s way up and take out the two center ones as well as it bounces off a wall and back down. Then on your second shot, just sling towards the two dots you haven’t hit.
Level 3: I’ve also been able to do this one with two balls, although it can probably be done with one. You just take out one side at a time if using two balls. Getting the dot at the top center may be tricky, but can be done if you apply enough force. Sling with a slight angle inward towards the center and it should take out all of one side on the way up. If you angle it right, it should take the other side on the way down.
Level 4: This should also be done with two balls. Its much the same as level three except with the outer dot on both sides. You can angle the sling slightly inward so it takes all of one side on the first sling plus the top and bottom bots and on the next sling, take out the other side.
Level 5: This pyramid is a tricky one, but if you arch the sling right and use the correct force, you can take out half of the pyramid at a time. Sling the ball right into the pyramid with a slight angle on one side at decent power. Don’t overdo the power or the ball will just fly off. Doing this lightly will allow the ball to take out half of the pyramid at a time on its way up and down. You can finish with 2 balls.
Level 6: This one is fairly easy in two but may be able to be done in one. I did it in two. Aim lightly for each of the two groups of four and you should be able to a group out in one shot.
Level 7: The arrow can be done in two also. Aim straight up with a lot of force with a teeny-weeny angle. You should be able to get the handle and one side of the arrows on the first shot, then just use the right angle to finish off the other side.
Level 8: I tried the “V” a few times, and my best was 4 shots. I angled the ball directly at the two sides and two able to take out each side of the “V” in 2 shots. I used close to full force on my slings. A better option may be to angle a bit more and slightly less power and depend on the downward bounce to take out more dots.
Level 9: This is two straight lines so I just did it in two, but I’m pretty sure it can be done in one. If you angle it inward and go for the lower set of three with mediocre force, you should be able to get the other three on the way down.
Thats it for now, I’ll have more when I figure more out or find a complete walkthrough.

I ran across a cool physics-based egg game today called The Egg which uses a combination of walls and springs in real-life like fashion as tools you can use to get an egg to the final basket. I didn’t think much of the game at first, but was quickly addicted to its simple, yet challenging game play. Each level presented its own set of difficulties and sometimes new obstacles like bombs(added in stage 3) caught me by surprise when they appeared on the level. This is one game where a decent knowledge of physics and how collisions interact with each other actually helps you beat the game. |
Even the first level wasn’t a complete piece of cake. I had to do trial and error quite a few times with the spring and the wall before I finally got the egg to fall into the final basket. It wasn’t so much that the egg had to fall into the basket on most levels, but the fact that certain targets needed to be hit and certain obstacles had to be avoided in order for the level to complete. The game is a great puzzle game for those people who want to bend their brain and figure out how to arrange the bounce platforms and walls to make the egg achieve the final goal. This game is well-executed with excellent playability.
If you don’t want to think that much and need a walk-through, take a look at this video, it is a complete walk-through:
