Resize-O-Shoot is a fun bomb-shooting game where you are changing the size of your bullet to destroy different bombs. Blue bombs require you to be bigger than them. Green bombs require you to be smaller than them, and black bombs require you to be about the same size as them. Yellow bombs split into blue and green bombs when hit. There are power-ups in the game that give you multi-fire, shots that kill anything regardless of size, and a photon laser that vaporizes everything in its path.

The game starts off slow but picks up speed quickly as it goes. How well you do in this game is based on your ability to gauge size. But there are some general tips to follow. The best thing to do is aim for groups of one type of bomb at a time — either the green or the blue and take them out in groups. Don’t go for the black bombs because it takes more time to kill them since you have resize until your shot is about as big as they are. Green and blue are either bigger or smaller so you can just either maximize your shot or minimize it to kill them. After you are done with green, aim for blue and as you are switching from the smallest shot to the biggest shot, go across the sky and take out the black bombs that are in-between in size. There are less black bombs than green or blue anyways so you can save them until you’ve finished off green and blue. The power-ups are crucial to this game. The most important one is the star power-up, which allows you to kill bombs of any size. The photon laser is important too because if you are panicking, you can just fire it and it will kill everything on the screen. Since towards the end, the bombs will be falling at a rapid pace, you will need to hit the time power-up also to decrease the speed of the fall. The multi-shot is good but is not as important as the other power-ups, it just gives you a wider range shot and it comes more often than the others.

Resize-O-Catch(please go to this link and vote it a 5!) is an interesting new concept for a game that revolves around resizing your main character to catch other characters. There are three types of characters you must catch. You must be bigger than the blue faces to catch them, you must be smaller than the red faces to catch them, and you must be about the same size as the orange faces in order to catch them. Use ‘A’ and ‘D’ to resize your character and use the mouse to move. This game may take some getting used to but is a fun and challenging game once you get familiar with it.

So to do well in this game, you have to concentrate on the power-ups, grabbing all of them every time. The multi-color and the slow power-up are probably more important than the life power-up but they are all important to be successful in this game. For the time when you don’t have the multi-color power-up, a good strategy is start off by always eating the blue squares and shrink your guy as you cross over to eat the red squares, thereby eating the orange squares on the way across. If you try to jump from square to square, you won’t be able to react fast enough and will let more enemies through than necessary. Sometimes, you will have to make an exception for the faster moving squares but usually starting on one side and going to the other is the best way to do things.
