Epic Battle Fantasy 2 is a fun turned based combat/rpg game where you control two heros and must fight a crazy warlord on a quest to destroy all life in the name of peace. On the way you’ll encounter many enemies and bosses that you must use a variety of attacks to defeat. I beat this game on normal but it took me a while to figure out the right combination of attacks to do in order to beat this game. Using the correct swords was important and getting the correct skills when upgrading was pretty important too. |
Up to fighting and defeating the worm boss, I just used the rune sword with my melee guy. With this sword, I was able to use the “legend” bushido technique non-stop and finish off enemies very quickly. With the healer I just used defense as much as possible and a healing spell when needed. I also used Pulsar when there were 3 enemies facing me at times. For skills, on the Melee fighter I upgraded the attack stats until it was at +4 or +3 before I upgraded the other stats. I then upgraded the defense bonuses. I also got the skill where his special attack did more damage and the skill where his defense was twice as effective. On the healer I concentrated on my defense and spellcasting power. I upgraded the heal spell power twice and the pulsar and lucky-star’s damage power. I also got counterattack abilities for both of my heros(these help a lot in killing later enemies).
After the worm boss, I ditched the rune sword in favor of the blood sword because it allowed me to drain life with each hit. With this sword, things were slow but I was able to hack my way through most enemies without having to heal at all. For boss enemies that have more than 1 part like the hydra or the final boss, you need to try to destroy all parts of them at once instead of killing them 1 part at a time. If you try to kill them 1 part at a time, then the other parts will just regenerate. Use the ION cannon for this, it is a great mass damage/finishing move. Spells like Pulsar and other direct AOE damage techniques are what you want to use.
Thats all the advice I have!
Well, its been a long time since I’ve played a text-rpg, especially in flash, but today’s Llama Adventure is a fun little game that is completely text based. The game packs alot of mysterious and secrets and should be fun for anyone who doesn’t mind a completely text-based interface. The walkthrough is below:

Epic Battle Fantasy is a fun action/fighting rpg game where you control a fighter and a caster and have to fight a bunch of enemies in succession. While the game and battle engine work great, the game I think has too many battles before any dialogue/shops are encountered, which detracts away from the RPG element. The spells and combinations are fun to use. I found that the best strategy was just to use the caster for the healing spell most of the time and throw a massive damage spell in there every once in a while like pulsar if there are lots of enemies. |
The fighter’s Bushido is very important to victory. When you use it, be sure to be equipped with the right sword. I really like the soul-eater’s legend move, it remind me of ominslash in FF7. I would reserve the Bushido skills for the bosses. During the game there are little guys that come in that boosts the caster’s MP and the fighter’s HP. I found however, that keeping the fighter’s MP up was pretty tough since I needed to use Bushido a lot. However, if you use the caster mainly for healing(herself and the fighter), you will do quite well. Poison is a bit of a pain so get some anti-poison and just stock up on items before you leave each shop and you should do well.

Sonic RPG 4 starts with our heros having to fight a pair of ancient beasts. Just use the regular attack(and knuckles’s thunder punch if you want) to attack and you’ll kill the smaller beast. The big beast will vanish into a hole and you’ll follow him. The fight continues in the hole but just when they are about to get pwned, Shadow comes to save them. Shadow attacks the ancient beast but does not kill him. The beast charges up and a “kill him” option appears. You must hit the “kill him” button or you die. |

In Sonic RPG 3, Sonic and Nights meet Reala and Nights ends up fighting him in the first battle. Sonic flies into the castle to find Shadow and meets Seekladoom. Shadow also returns and Sonic and Shadow fight Seekladoom in the tower. Just attack Seekladoom, he will steal your MP and do his super attack which pwns you but leaves him weakened. |
Nights uses the power of the emerald to revive Sonic and Shadow. However, they don’t kill Seekladoom for some odd reason(didn’t make sense to me). They say they need a plan.
Nights meanwhile, engages in battle with Reala. Just use your star rain on him until he attacks you twice and then use your overdrive to win. Reala is saved by Seekladoom chasing Sonic, Shadow, and Reala. Seekladoom doesn’t kill Reala because he might have some future use for him.
Sonic and friends wind up in a cave and there engage in battle with ancient beasts. The story continues in the next chapter.

Sonic RPG 2 is a fun game where sonic and his friends fall into another dimension, one with a “light side” and a “dark side”. Unfortunately, Seelkadoom is here too and has teamed up with the evil emperor to cause havoc. Sonic meats the emperor of the light side, Night, and together they go to find the holy Sapphire to face Reala and Seelkadoom. They have a brief fight with the guardian and win(you play this fight). For this fight it doesn’t matter how you fight, you get the Sapphire, but unfortunately, the evil dude comes and steals it before you can take it. |
They chase Reala and he drops the Sapphire. Sonic goes after Reala. Sonic loses to Reala(it doesn’t matter what you do) but Night has reclaimed the Sapphire. They meet Knuckles, but he doesn’t come with them since he’s just interested in a way back home. Now, with the Sapphire, Sonic and Nights go in search of Seelkadoom and Reala. Meanwhile Shadow is getting pwned by Seekladoom in Reala’s castle. There the movie ends.

Sonic RPG 1 Part 2 picks up right where part 1 left off with sonic chasing Eggman in his super form. He catches up with Eggman and has to fight his digger robot. For this, just use the SP power and go super form. You are invulnerable in super form against the robot so just keep attacking it until it dies. When it does, Eggman’s ultimate creation, Seelkadoom comes out and starts talking to Sonic, just as Shadow comes around. |
Unfortunately for Eggman, Seelkadoom is uncontrollable so Eggman has to suck Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and Seekladoom to another dimension while he prepares to conquer the world. The adventures in the next dimension await in the next episode, stay tuned!

Sonic RPG 1 is the beginning of another adventure for Sonic, Shadow, and friends. This one is pretty straightforward and you don’t have that much chance to die in the first episode. But its pretty well narrated and if you don’t mind the bad grammar, its a decent start to a good series. In the first fight, you have to fight Eggman’s monster.
