Condottiero is a fun sniper-assasin game where you pick one of the many characters available(all with different stats) and go on individual missions to take on evil targets. You only have a certain amount of time to eliminate each one so you must be quick about it. Using your character’s strong stat would be a good idea and being precise with the mouse wouldn’t hurt too much either. There’s not much explaining to do in this game as there is an in-game walkthrough you can look at. Have fun! |

Polarity is a space shooting game where you are fighting against two groups of aliens, the red kind, and the blue kind. This is a bit different from most space shooters in that you can switch the “polarity” of your spaceship into either red or blue and it will effect how much you damage the enemy and if you take damage. When firing at an enemy, you want to switch to the opposite polarity the enemy has(for instance if the enemy is red, you want to switch to blue) but for defense, you want to switch to the same polarity as the enemy that is firing at you so you can absorb their fire. |
This makes this game feel sort of like a multitasking game as well as a normal space shooter and adds a whole new element to a typically predictable genre. For this reason, I would rate this game a notch above most games of this genre. Its also easy to play and you don’t have to go through shops/upgrades at the beginning of the game. Graphics are nicely done and gameplay is smooth. I didn’t notice any sprite or particle effect slowdowns(this may be because I’m playing on a top of the line laptop) but I don’t think this game would slow down many computers. Some people may not like this game because it differs a bit from the normal space shooter and they may find the adjustment difficult but if your up for a new and interesting challenge. Give this game a try.
Good luck!

Resize-O-Shoot is a fun bomb-shooting game where you are changing the size of your bullet to destroy different bombs. Blue bombs require you to be bigger than them. Green bombs require you to be smaller than them, and black bombs require you to be about the same size as them. Yellow bombs split into blue and green bombs when hit. There are power-ups in the game that give you multi-fire, shots that kill anything regardless of size, and a photon laser that vaporizes everything in its path. |
The game starts off slow but picks up speed quickly as it goes. How well you do in this game is based on your ability to gauge size. But there are some general tips to follow. The best thing to do is aim for groups of one type of bomb at a time — either the green or the blue and take them out in groups. Don’t go for the black bombs because it takes more time to kill them since you have resize until your shot is about as big as they are. Green and blue are either bigger or smaller so you can just either maximize your shot or minimize it to kill them. After you are done with green, aim for blue and as you are switching from the smallest shot to the biggest shot, go across the sky and take out the black bombs that are in-between in size. There are less black bombs than green or blue anyways so you can save them until you’ve finished off green and blue. The power-ups are crucial to this game. The most important one is the star power-up, which allows you to kill bombs of any size. The photon laser is important too because if you are panicking, you can just fire it and it will kill everything on the screen. Since towards the end, the bombs will be falling at a rapid pace, you will need to hit the time power-up also to decrease the speed of the fall. The multi-shot is good but is not as important as the other power-ups, it just gives you a wider range shot and it comes more often than the others.
Happy shooting!

Its been a few days since I’ve released Shoot and Catch and although I haven’t promoted it much, it is solidly getting about 10,000 non-skipped plays per day on Mochi-Ads. The game is getting more popular than I would have thought and may end up being my most popular game, despite not having the highest ratings. I can attribute this to the addicting game-play and the awesome graphics I had RushVision do for me. |
The game itself is a decent multi-tasking game where you must shoot falling missiles on one side of the screen while catching fruits on the other side of the screen. Some people have complained its too hard and others have found that to beat the top scores, you need to have a friend play alongside you so each person controls one side. While this was not my original intention, many people have found the game enjoyable this way. However, if you are playing single by yourself, I do have a few tips for you. Being the maker of this game, I am well aware of how the dynamics and the power-ups work. One large imbalance between the sides is that the catching fruits side has a life power-up that gains you three lives while the shooting side does not have a life power-up, meaning that you can’t gain life back when lost. For this reason, I suggest concentrating on the shooting side more as you can’t regain lost life. Even though you start out with 50 lives on the shooting side as opposed to 20 on the catching side, its easier to lose from the shooting side. On the shooting side, you need to make sure to hit both the big shoot powerup and the multi-shot powerup when they come down each time. It will hurt if you don’t have big shots but you will absolutely lose the game if you run out of multi-shots.
On the catching fruits side, the main thing is to keep moving the bucket and keep an eye out for powerups. Pay attention to the big basket powerup and the life powerup especially. There is a flying powerup but if you are playing the game by yourself, you probably won’t have time to control the up and down motion of the basket. If you focus most your concentration on the shooting part of the game, you will last longer than if you divided equal concentration onto both parts. You should be able to get about 25,000 points this way.
Happy shooting and catch.
Other games to play:
Bucket Ball — Launch the correctly colored ball into the correctly colored Bucket
Maverick — propel yourself with your dual-pistols across the levels.

This article’s Focus is on the new action/blow-everything-in-site up game Momentum Missile Mayhem 3. In this game you are a missile/weapons launcher and your goal is to prevent tanks from advancing across the map by destroying them with one of 4 weapons. The weapons are the regular artillery, the singularity cannon, the MGM Sphere, and the Gravity Disc. Of these, the regular artillery and the singularity cannon are the easiest to pick up and use while the MGM sphere and the gravity disc may take a while to get used to. |
The artillery works like a regular artillery. Pick the size of shell you want to use and click on the area you want to target. Target in front of the thing you want to hit as the artillery takes a while to get there. The singularity cannon is a weapon where you hold down to mouse to charge up and use the mouse to aim. It does not hurt tanks and vehicles by itself but uses the singularity’s force to draw them towards it and crash into a fiery explosion. This weapon is very effective and fun to use.
The MGM sphere is an energy sphere weapon that you guide directly with your mouse. You target by hovering the mouse near or over the intended target and then press your left mouse button to accelerate the disk towards the target.
The last weapon is the gravity disc. Hover your mouse near the disc to target it. It will shoot out in the direction that its arrow is pointing. It kills anything it comes in contact with but if your near the sides, it can get tricky to get as it propels the opposite direction from the way you are aiming the mouse. In other words, the propulsion system is at the back.
My personal favorite was the singularity cannon as you can aim it at large groups and cause massive explosions.
This game was a lot of fun and I encourage everyone to start off on “easy” to get used to the feel of the game before moving on to the harder difficulties.
The one problem with this game is the resource requirements are pretty high and when there are lots of tanks on the screen, the game lags. It was hard for me to even get a consistent 10fps on my duel-core processor with 2GB RAM, so it will be somewhat unplayable for older systems. This is mostly due to the particle effects and lighting effects in the game which take up a massive amount of CPU power to handle. Even the loading mechanism has a special effect in it.
If this game had been made with slightly less special effects but more playable on lower and middle-end PC’s, it would have been near perfect. As of right now, I can only recommend this game for people who have powerful machines.
