Doom Walkthrough/review/tips admin 26, November
Doom Yes folks, rejoice — for the epic classic Doom has finally fully been converted into flash. This amazing and bloody shooter that delighted those of us lucky(and old) enough to enjoy it is back — in all its glory. Complete with weapons, armor, monsters, and cheat codes, this game is hard to beat. Since it is built just like the original, it means all the old walkthroughs and cheats work in this flash version. I highly recommend you pick it up and play again if you are an old gamer looking to get some retro shooting in and if your too young to have played doom in the past — well, go play it now.

For those of you who forgot the old cheat codes, here are the two most important ones:

IDDQD - God Mode
IDKFA - All weapons + Ammo

Frantic is an excellent shoot-em-up game where you can choose one of three ships, destroy enemies, earn money, and upgrade your ship. The levels are pretty basic but well executed although I have to say that there were a few pauses in flash player when there was an abundance of particle effects in this game. You have the option of keyboard or mouse controls for this game and your ship is auto-fire so you only have to worry about movement. I personally prefer the mouse option because its easier and fast for the ship to follow my mouse than using the keyboard arrows to move it. If you only have a touchpad, you’ll want the keyboard controls though. Overall, this is a solid arcade shooter game with many options and upgrade and good for a gaming session of fun.
JVC Stinger Sniper admin 25, August
This feature is on the shooting/point and click adventure JVC Stinger Sniper from Pencil Kids. Its a combination of a scope-sniping game and a point and click adventure. In some missions you’ll have a certain amount of time to kill the enemy or destroy a facility while in other missions you must interact with the environment to achieve an objective. In this game, you are part of an underground militia which is trying to liberate the earth from “stingers” in the 26th century. The stingers are bio-produced androids that have somehow taken over the operations of the world.

The game starts off easily with a simple sniping mission in which you must find and kill a few level 1 enemy stingers within a certain amount of time. The first mission is pretty easy and just by searching the building, you should easily be able to find all the enemies. The 2nd level is a bit trickier. You must deactivate a high-voltage security system, but if you touch the system without shutting off the electricity first, you die and the mission is failed. You must first get on top of the building to deactivate the electrical generator. To do this, remove the brick in front of the trash dump, then push the trach dump next to the building so you can use it to get on to the generator. Do not touch the generator! Instead click on the wire connection that leads from the generator to the cage to break it with a brick. Then climb down, enter the cage, and disable the security system. This took me a while to figure out. In most of these point and click adventures, you just have to find all the places where you can click in order to solve the puzzle and beat the level. For a more in-depth walkthrough, I suggest you visit This page(please note I am not affiliated with this site and it can be down at times).

Overall, I had a lot of fun playing this game and it kept me entertained for about an hour. Trying to find the solutions to some of the puzzles was frustrating but the sniping levels in between were enough to relieve the stress. This was a very well-balanced game between shooting and puzzles and the graphics were very smooth. If you’ve got a hour, I suggest you check this game out.
